[Shizuo is strolling through the park, a lit cigarette hanging from his lips. He doesn't seem to be too aware of his surroundings but he enjoys the peacefulness of the dome in the late evening.

He's calm this evening, but there is still a tense hunch to his shoulders as he walks. Shizuo is not going anywhere in particular, he's just restless this evening.]

[Short mail route is short Given her rather light load today, PM finds herself with a lot of extra time on her hands. Over her extremely healthy dinner of microwave french fries with mustard, she decides to head over to the library for some studying.]

[The hard-shelled mail lady spends some time wandering the stacks, pausing now and then to stare blankly at the spines before selecting a book at seemingly random. Once PM has accumulated a nice little collection, she settles cross-legged in a chair to she flip delicately through the pages with her stubby claws.]

Someone mind telling me what the hell is wrong with Euphie? I've never heard her say a bad word about anybody before, and now she's suddenly spouting off how she wants to kill people like me? She helped me before. She wanted me to take classes, for crying out loud. What gives?

I mean, I'm not worried for myself -- [ He's not. He's groped her before on accident -- he could defense himself easily. ] -- but there are a lot of people who probably can't and not to mention it just doesn't sound like something she'd do you know?

[ Sighing. ] This place does weird things to people, I know, just... damn. It's total bullshit. [ Euphie didn't deserve this, whatever it was. ]

[ so, here it is. the first -- of what he hopes will be many -- meetings between the vampires of Marina and those who would hunt them. Suzaku is very tense while he waits for their guests to arrive, drinking his tea without really tasting anything beyond the heat.
