[Kitty could be impulsive sometimes. Like jumping on the back of a giant mutant-killing robot without having any idea how to disable it. Things usually had a way of working themselves out, so she had learned to trust her instincts. After all, in battle the difference between walking away and being dragged comes in a fraction of a second and instinct is faster than thought.

She wasn't sure any of that justified what she was doing awake at this hour or much less why she was passing by this particular room though. And less than that why she was phasing her way through the door.]

[Aidou knows it could be considered later than for such an outing, but he needed something to do--so he wouldn't feel as useless as he had lately. So he took a trip to the convenience store to pick up some groceries. Little Akatsuki is bounding along beside him as he walks, every so often purposefully jumping into a mound of snow, as if he spotted something--which would be his shadow--and then stopping and looking around to make sure no one caught sight of what he was up to.

It's not like anyone is going to make fun of you for playing in the snow.
