Russel Tringham
[Russel is up near the entrance to the shelter, with a plan to do something about this smoke. He's got a pile of scrap metal on one side, including bits of wiring and a couple batteries. He has to try and get this smoke out of the shelter. For Fletcher, for himself, for everyone. Then he can turn to reviving the transmutation on the phosphorescence.

But for now, he has a bigger problem: He hasn't been wearing gloves, and no matter how much he focuses on keeping his hand steady, he just can't draw the perfect shapes necessary to do what he has to do. The only reason he hasn't let go of his stub of chalk is that his finger muscles have contracted around it. And he's also shaking due to the thin air up there.]

[He tries once, and he makes it almost a quarter of the way around the decently large circle before he loses his line.]...Dammit... [Again, and he makes less headway.] Dammit... [Again, and even worse yet.]DAMMIT!

[Crouched on the floor, he leans forward on his hands and knees, almost as if he's bowing to something that he never had a reason to believe in in the first place, and may be talking to them as well as himself.] I have to do this... I should be able to do this... Otherwise... [His breath catches, and he coughs. He shakes that horrific thought out of his head.] No... we'll...be okay. [He doesn't seem to believe himself either.]

[Tama, Al's cat, has turned the video on somehow, playing with Al's communicator. She gets bored with it soon and scampers over to Al, pawing at him and meowing a bit.

Al doesn't even acknowledge her. He's sitting up in his bed, leaning against the wall, a blanket wrapped around him. He's just... staring at the wall across the room, blinking every so often but besides that, not moving. The door to the room is open to let in what little light from the emergency lights there are.

Tama meows at him again but when he still doesn't do anything, she burrows under the warm blanket to curl up underneath it and take a nap.]

Conrad Weller
[Conrad's just coming in from outside, properly attired this time, with coat and gloves and a scarf over his mouth for breathing purposes. Why has he been out? Because heroes do stupidly heroic things, and because he wanted to give one last search for food or supplies. His eyes are red from the ash and there's a lingering cough but even worse? He looks very, very disappointed. He's only returning with a meager amount of items: some canned vegetables and tuna, a few packs of crackers, and a bag of almonds that was didn't look very appetizing. Not much did, in their current condition, but at least it was something.]

[He pockets one can and one pack of crackers for Yuuri and Wolfram before offering up what little he has:]

I've just returned from [cough, which he covers by clearing his throat] searching for more food. I've found very little, but whomever needs it...

((OOC: feel free to run into him outside if you're there, or inside.))

[It begins as just another cough that everyone else has been periodically dotting the communications network with. But it quickly turns into something worse, something he has become known for, despite his best efforts, he hasn't been able to adequately cover up. Then, it gets even worse. Blood and mucus cover the hand he uses to cover his mouth. His stomach turns, and his blood rushes in his head. His steps wobble.

Where was he headed exactly? A hat, that's right. He was headed to the clothing store for a hat. He was used to bitterly cold winters with not much in the way of heat, but this was new. The chatter in his ear was soon covered by a rush of noise. So loud, so very loud. He reached out to the wall to steady himself. Maybe he should go back. No, it wasn't far from here. He was okay in the cold. German blood ran too thick, too strong, to be any other way. He never could get a grip on that wall. His fluid covered hand slipped on its surface. He lost his balance, and fell forward on the path.

Had this condition finally claimed its first victim? Not quite. He was much too stubborn for that. He still had much work to do, for the others, for Professor Oberth, for Germany as a whole. His lifesigns were present, but weak. His clock was ticking down faster than ever before. Even if he would refuse Death, no matter when, where, or how he came.]

Stop going outside.

If you don't have a means to help protect yourself from the ash and fumes within the air, then you're only causing more people to become exposed to it in their effort to come and find you. I understand that there are things out there that people need right now, but at the same time unless you are capable and qualified in doing so yourself just stay put.

You can't be of any help if your body is wrecked, or worse.

Roxas
...I'm not sure how much good it'll do with all this ash, but I guess it's supposed to be daytime now, so... One more light.

[A bright star goes up near the clocktower. The light it casts is pale and cold, not very strong, and unflattering, but pure and clear. He can see it clearly from the window of the apartment where he's been huddling with his friends, which so far has escaped most of the misery of outside.]

I hope that helps someone.

Spike (William the Bloody)
[He listens to Yuuki's plea for people to stay inside and decides to do that champion-ish thing he does now.]

All right then, since I don't actually need to breathe, does anyone need anything outside the shelter?

And I dropped off a few things in the kitchen. [The things including several bottles of alcohol, some mixers, a couple jars of olives, and a jar of maraschino cherries. Take a guess where he's been scavenging.]

Akito/Agito/Lind Wanijima
[The cold is beginning to get to Akito; despite being curled under who knows how many blankets he keeps shivering. Kasumi is also curled with him]

Why does it keep getting colder...?

[Sneezes and sniffs a little. Urgh...] I d-don't like this... [Body is too small and fragile for these kinds of conditions, and he knows it]

When is S-Sentience-san coming back- [Sneeze] Mph...

I don't feel well...

The little light in the sky is very helpful Roxas, a great many thanks~! ♥

I do believe it's gotten quite cold, here and I've come to find I have an excess of blankets where I am right now. I would very much like to give them to those who need them, since I am fortunate enough to not feel the cold. ♥

The air quality is quite bad, but I will be outside the shelter in a few moments. With Lero's help, I may be able to shield anyone who would like a blanket.

Good morning, criminals.

I need a way to get through the dome. I can swim very quickly and hold my breath for a long time, and the water pressure shouldn't bother me. If I make it to the surface, I can find land, and perhaps someone who can help.

Is there anyone who would be able to assist me?

((OOC: Also, Rosalie has gathered some bottles of water and put them in the common room, in case the water is next to go out. Thinking ahead is fun!))
