Welcome to the MarinaNova HMD! This is optional, but encouraged.

• List your characters for which you'd like feedback. We have a form below if you like forms!

• Leave your tactful and considered thoughts, questions, concerns, praise, suggestions, etc. for others.

We strongly encourage you to make this a dialogue. Find out what went into actions, decisions, and characterization and you may come to understand it better. Hopefully, you'll also be in the best position to clearly communicate your own concerns. Results will be more satisfactory for everyone if one person isn't on the offensive while the other is on the defensive.

Avoid leaving someone a wall of text. This can be intimidating even with the most careful of wording and best of intentions.

Don't gang up on someone. You may have a different way of wording something, but unless you have something new to contribute, consider letting it go if there are already others saying it.

Be constructive and considerate.

• Since there is no plotting meme during months with an HMD, please feel free to do that here too.

• Contact a mod if you have any problems.

I honestly don't mind if you keep comments here or take it there. General Comments: As I recently stated on plurk, after having time to actually focus on a handful of characters rather than a legion, I've started to notice that Bak's prose could use some vast improvement especially when I flip flop back and forth between overt comedic relief and serious business. I could also stand to be a little more subtle with his insecurities as he does have a lot of confidence even if he tends to over compensate in some areas. Other things of note is that I've been drawing a lot of Peggy's general interactions from old black and white films that I used to watch ages ago on AMC when used to be what TCM is now. Also, I'm actually a bit more pleased with Hei's prose/voice when I've been struggling recently but I still have a ways to go to getting him back on track as well. So, basically, any thoughts would be awesome and as the above states, I think Bak could use the most improvement out of my three. Also, plotting: I have no real future plans for Jack beyond his current 'feelings event' plot with Rebekah and ongoing tension with Ianto (because there's always tension there about one thing or another *g*). To be honest, I'm quite happy just putting him out there at the various party events to flirt, but I'm always willing to listen if anyone has anything more specific they'd like to do with him! First post on each of their journals. Comments: General feedback on both of them is appreciated, this is my first time doing anything with Asami and my first time roleplaying Terry instead of writing fic for him. Slightly more specific questions are: 1) Am I doing actionspam right? It's still not something I have an exact handle on and 2) Asami's canon point. It's a whole huge /thing/ for her to be dealing with but I am trying to make sure she talks about other stuff and her emotional reaction/processing of all that stays somewhat realistic. Also, I feel like my minimum tagging speed is pretty decent but my maximum is really low. I (hope I) get tags turned around pretty quickly in general but both of these kids require some thinking and I will be threading with people tagging me back in minutes when it's taking me all day to get one or two tags out. I love all of you people and I love playing these characters I just rarely can manage actual boomerangs with either of them. I'm honestly not sure how to work on that but I'm willing to try!
