[ MORNING - CLOSED TO IANTO ]

[ For once, Spike is the one who wakes up first, rolls over with a groan and slings an arm around Ianto's waist. She snuggles up to his back, not wearing a stitch, of course. This is just a normal morning. Nothing to see. ]

[ Unperturbed by the events of the morning, Spike goes about her day as usual. Picking up a cup of hot blood, taking a walk as she sips it, smoking by the graveyard and then heading into work at the Blood Shack where she spends most of the day drinking whiskey and trying not to be too bored. [The fact that this morning clearly involves boobs is initially a point of curiosity rather than concern. It wouldn't be the first time the Wardens have switched around where people wake up after all. So when he's woken up by the unfamiliar body snuggling closer against him his first instinct is to roll over slowly so he can wake up whoever it is without alarming them.

The problem is it isn't anyone he knows. At least that's his initial impression. But the longer he stares at her the more he finds he does know things, like that x shaped scar cutting through her eyebrow or the other one on her shoulder. Of course, the fact that she isn't breathing and has no pulse is a good clue, too. Softly, so as not to cause too much panic, he runs a hand across her shoulder to wake her up more completely.]
