Huh? Oh, yeah. [He looks down at his hands - and also the ground under them. It's still a little unnerving, but he's not going to let that ruin his day.] I decided to be a ghost. I guess that means I get to actually be one.

See. Definite benefit. Sometimes I scare people without even meaning to by walking through walls. It's much easier on purpose. [Easier to do and easier on her because then it was her intention and not an unfortunate byproduct.]

[He nods.] I sometimes scare people when I come out of the shadows. [It's much easier when he means to do it. He wouldn't do it here if he weren't at least a little confident that he won't lose his friends and family over it.]

As far as I can tell, all of my powers still work. [He'd dusted his apartment with frost when he initially panicked over being see-through.] The shadows still respond to me, so I assume so. But I haven't tried. It's pointless to exhaust myself when simply walking through things takes no effort.

Is it always exhausting? [Maybe not the most timely question, but she is curious. Kurt went through phases where he couldn't do much teleporting in a given day. Her own power requires excessive overuse before she notices it pulling her down.]

Usually. [It depends on how far he's going, number of passengers, how many times in a day, effort involved... But "usually" covers most of it.] Nothing a nap can't fix. [Or passing out. As long as he didn't fall into a coma or lose his molecular structure to the shadows, it was all good. Yeah?]
