He was so distracted by the idea of cooking that he'd actually forgotten, for a moment, what her restaurant used to be. But as soon as she says it, he realises the reason he'd forgotten is because he never goes there, not since her wedding, for which he made a special exception.

He gives her a rueful smile. "I'm very grateful, but I honestly don't think I could. Don't worry, though. I earn some points just from being in the Defence Force, apparently!" He still gets amused by the idea of the AIs giving him points for potentially working against them!

"Yeah, that's what I thought you'd say."

She smiles, bittersweet. She loves her restaurant and she still thinks it was the better choice, rather than leave the Compass where it is, abandoned or bot run, looking the same it always did. She cleaned up blood on those floorboards, might as well go all the way and paint them.

"I do take-out, you know. It's fine that you can't come in."

"I'm sorry." He really is. He appreciates what she's done for the place, and it's definitely better than the bar remaining as the Compass, but no amount of paint and flowers is going to be able to overcome the memory of bits of Ianto splattered across the floor.

"I know you do." He grins. "And to be fair, you'll probably be seeing me again on some of those nights Ianto's over at Spike's!"

	"Pizza and beer night, again? I could get used to that." She'd welcome it, actually. Between the restaurant and married life, she feels like maybe she's missing out on socialising. He grins a bit at the relief, which does indeed look amusing, but he's glad that Nico has someone like her to look out for him.

The dad comment gives him pause for a moment, before he realises she means Ton and not Hades. "Oh, right!" He chuckles. "Well, if Ton's sense of fun is rubbing off on him, that can only be a good thing, can't it?" Nico needs more fun in his life.
