[It would happen again if Jack had any say in the matter. He was already looking forward to the next Mistletoe Day, which by his calculations shouldn't be too far away! And he was right there with Kirk in damning the sex bands - an emotion he hadn't felt for quite some time. He had Ianto and he had Spike and times had been exciting enough with just that, but he really would have liked to go further than this with Kirk. He could feel his cock stirring against the hip pressed against his, eager for more.

So it was with a good deal of regret and with only precarious self-possession that he forced himself to gradually calm the kiss down, because he really didn't want to be walking round with a hard on for the rest of the evening. Slowly drawing back to create some space between them, and finally stilling the kiss to just his lips against Kirk's, and then just his forehead resting against Kirk's forehead.]

_{[ Good, because once you kissed someone like this, you really needed to be able to kiss them again. Maybe more. God he hoped more if not for those damn bands! Whoever made those up, he was going to personally stick a fist through their circuitry. If it had gone on any longer, he really would have had to hide behind a bush for a little while, maybe steal some ice from the drinks to calm himself down. Kirk had wanted a lot of people in his life, but there was something about wanting someone and not being able to have them that really amped him up. Damn it.

[He could tell that Kirk was having to hang on to his self-control just as tightly as he was, and he was quite impressed with how well the other man did it, despite his obvious desire for more. Still, he was a captain, after all. Jack knew only too well how self-sacrificing a captain had to be, even if it wasn't usually because of stupid sex bands!

He laughed, finally stepping back and letting his hands fall away.] You bet I will! [And then, because he didn't want to give Kirk false hope:] I'm afraid it's not that likely, though, not for the moment. I've worked harder at this relationship than I can remember ever working at one, and I really don't want to fuck it up!

[Another glance over towards where he'd seen Spike and Ianto before, but they seemed to have made their escape while he was otherwise occupied.]

[He inclines his head.] Hazard of the early stages of a threeway relationship, where it's not quite actually going three ways yet. Every now and again you get left out.

[Which might seem even harder given what he could have going with Kirk tonight had it not been for the AIs and their idiotic rules!

...And he hasn't actually mentioned the fact that his relationship with Ianto is now a threeway with Spike yet, has he? Have fun with that one, Kirk!]

With two people, it might be easier, though he suspected even that wasn't always easy given the way they had just been kissing. Still, he had to give him credit for trying. Kind of. ]}

But he knows himself too well, and he's getting a pretty good idea that Kirk really isn't very different, and it might just all be a little too tempting.

So he shakes his head, regretfully.] I'd love to, really I would. But I also know how hard it would be to keep it at just cuddling. [A warm smile with a definite heat in it, because he thinks there could be a real spark here, if circumstances were different.]

Honestly? I think I probably ought to just call it a night.
