It's not great.

[ He readies the video, zipping through about eight minutes of warm sunlight and endless fields. Idyllic like you wouldn't believe. Stopping just short of the scene changing, Nathan will be treated to a few seconds of a much much younger Aidan scampering happily through a garden.

The shift is abrupt. Sunlight replaced with cold fluorescent lighting, illuminating what looks like a boxing ring. There's blood on the floor, sprayed, smeared, the remnants of a fight that's gone on way too long. One of the opponents is down on the ground - a familiar red head, struggling to get back up on his feet, one arm curled around his clearly broken and bruised ribs. He's not putting any weight on one leg. Bald and arrogant, his opponent - Jethro - is sporting a few bruises but still standing tall.

Soon a blue boy with white hair enters the ring, an argument breaks out between him and Jethro but the audio isn't very good, like being underwater. It's clear to see that it gets heated, a gun is being pulled out, Jethro is goading the boy on and then a shot rings out. There's just enough video left to show Aidan stumbling, crashing, bright red blood pooling on the floor with worrying speed. Then nothing. The end. ]

	[He watches, interest peaking once the the peace transforms into violence, then turning into nausea when Aidan (presumably) gets shot. Aidan is basically his friend. ...He needed someone like me around. No one ever really cared for him as a person an' I'm real good at that stuff, so... I stayed. Guess I hoped somethin' would change.

I dunno. [ He does know but even now he feels a need to defend Helix, even though in retrospect he was a selfish, hotheaded asshole who didn't have the first idea of how to socialize with other people. ]
