[Reid definitely left out the part where he and Leia kissed which would have made the story a lot more personal. He did hear about the gold bikini with Kitty though.]

I didn't like it when I found out a prophet was mistaking his visions for story ideas back home and wrote a book series about my life and my brother's thinking we're just characters. There are conventions where people dress up as us. They write their own stories where we do things to each other that siblings should never................ [Wait. Uncomfortable throat clearing.]

I mean, unless you didn't know you were siblings I guess.

leia's eyes go wide. she takes a step back. he wasn't— but he was. of all the humiliating moments, that had to be one that those karking films showcased. humiliating and deeply upsetting. leia had no idea. maybe she knew subconsciously, but that part of her wasn't exactly good at communicating with her conscious self. she's always been drawn to luke, and never really understood why until he hurriedly blurted out the truth before running off to get killed or worse. that natural magnetism could have been misinterpreted in disastrous ways.

she has so many feelings about that particular truth being withheld from her, and sam's careless reminder is like a vibroknife to the gut. ]

How dare you. [ finding out about kitty dressing up in the outfit Jabba's underlings made her wear upset her. having sam negligently reference that kiss makes her furious. ] You have absolutely no right to talk about that, but if you were looking for an example of why I don't like being lied to—
