[That earns him a smile.] Deal. [She nods over toward some seating and offers him the viewer.] Just limit how much you make fun of what I'm wearing. [On it, he'll find a video of a very young Kitty at a dance recital—it's not quite a tutu, but it is an unfortunate ensemble in loud colors. She's good. Really good for her age. It doesn't show the whole performance, but you see the end and the dancers take their bows and then she runs off stage to hug her parents who both tell her how proud they are and how much they love her. Something she can hear anytime she wants now. She didn't have any photos. She hasn't seen them since they died. Not until today.]

[ He takes a seat, genuinely excited to see what she has to show him. Maybe their friendship is still a little shaky but they've been friends since the day he arrived and in Marina terms, that's a long time. They've been good together for longer than they've been bad and the last week or so it's been a little easier to fall back into that.

He smiles widely when he realizes what it is he's looking at. She looks so small and happy but unmistakably her and although he's never seen a picture of her parents it's easy to make the connection. ]

Wow. [ Has he smiled this much lately? ] You were really good.

[She has a lot of feelings over this and cried the first time. They were happy tears, but luckily she doesn't have those welling up now. He can probably tell how much it means to her though. It's still very close to the surface as she smiles back.] Yeah, well, I was kind of a savant. [She laughs too because she hasn't had to contain this much happy in some time and it bubbles loose.]
