Yeah, not a bad idea. [He is still in full husband support mode here so right now this sounds like a good distraction. So he's less hesitant than he was earlier to pull his own disc out and start playing it.]

[It's from the future, because he's never seen this before. But there he is, sprawled out on the back of a speeder bike that looks as though it's been run into a tree. The repulor lifts are still working because it's floating but the engine seems dead and the front is crumpled and bent. It's hovering in the middle of a stream with a rope tied to it being towed along by a man whose face is impossible to make out under the huge burn scars covering it, which is sort of the point - Face is too recognizable without a disguise but it looks like he's had it on for awhile. The edges of the stage makeup scars are starting to peel and flake off like he's been sweating in a forest all day. As for Phanan he doesn't look much better. His position on the bike is awkward, like he's accommodating internal injuries and he looks pale and sweaty. The front of his TIE fighter uniform has been ripped open like he was trying to cool himself down. There's only a moment or two to take the whole scene in though before they start interacting. It's a grim scene and yet somehow Phanan is left grinning like an idiot by the time the video is done.]</a>

[ She wasn't sure what she was expecting other than some glimpse from his home and the actual scene that's playing out is leaving her with a queasy feeling of foreboding in her chest. Maybe it's because she's been around death so much, that she smells of it, but somehow she just knows that he's not going to pull through. It seems very final, reminiscent of the clear-headedness some of the people Ned brought back had.

She curls in against him, fumbling for his hand. She always liked how he could smile at almost everything but right now that's nothing short of unsettling. ]

...Are you okay?

[This should bother him more than it does; this must happen soon, since that's Face's Hawk-bat disguise he's currently using for their pirate mission. And he knows he dies after this. Not because he's a doctor but because he knows himself and how he's acting in that clip. He's never serious around Face. Never. So he knows he's not making it out and he's got his priorities straight. That's what's making him so happy.]

I'm glad I finally said that out loud to him, that's all. That's Face, by the way. Under all the makeup.

Well we can't have people swooning and asking for autographs on sneaky missions. The banter is genuine though. [Its good to see him again, though. He misses him.] And he makes me look emotionally stable and adjusted by comparison. He blames himself a lot for helping the Empire get away with things. He's good at this, at what we do, but if he keeps doing it for those reasons it's going to destroy him eventually. But I don't think there's another situation besides that where he would have listened to me about that.
