Day 324 - Power Play mingle
[There's no fanfare today. The museum has something about the benefits of sheep's wool. There are no decorations up. The clothing shops have the same sort of stock they had yesterday. And there are no specialized dishes at the restaurants, but you can probably find a power bar at the convenience store, but there's nothing new there.

What is new is whatever power you woke up with or without today. What you do with that is up to you and whomever you encounter.]

[Artemis is doing her best to stay away from people, but she also didn't want to stay at home. She didn't want to lose any more of it. Ever since she woke up she's had the Midas touch, but without the shiny gold. She's turning things to stone.

That might explain some of those random statues you saw on your way to wherever you find her. Maybe she's in the clothing shop trying to cover up her hands, but only turning the gloves to stone. Maybe she's at one of the food carts, making stone kabobs.

At least the clothes she was wearing to bed—black tank top and green, cotton pants—managed to stay cloth.]

Huh. [Not understanding every detail there, but it's enough.] So they're messing with us again. I mean, I kind of figured. It's not like there are a lot of reasons to wake up to [Looking hopelessly at her hands] this.

But does it just go away tomorrow? Everything I touch...will it turn back? [She knows Shallan doesn't have that answer any more than she does, but she still asks it because it's all she can think. It's not like a few stone things in the apartment are a big deal, but what if she accidentally...]
