307 - Career day mingle
[ Career day has come to Marina and Sector 0 is abuzz with activity! Booths have been erected, some of them with information about the existing establishments, some of them empty for inmates to man if they feel like advertising their business and one dedicated to the process of starting something completely new. Each establishment comes with its own information poster about career opportunities, but they all follow the same basic principle:

Restaurants, bars and cafés — Waiter, dishwasher, cook, bartender, cleaning and maintenance staff.
Shops and stores — shop clerk, stock assistant, cleaning and maintenance staff.
Hospital — Cleaning and maintenance staff
Athletic Center — cleaning and maintenance staff. Cleaning staff for the horse stable need to be vetted before employed.
Prison maintenance — cleaning and maintenance staff, gardening.

While the career day is mostly geared towards commercial establishments, there's also space reserved for the school and defence force. Bots will be readily available to answer questions and streamline the application process for inmates that wish to take over or start a new establishment. ]

[For the most part, the bots could handle the basic dishes at the restaurant for the welcome mingle, so that was all good, definitely. As a result, Piper was spending a portion of the day at the career fair. The reception didn't start until later, anyway, so she had some time.

She was hoping to get some help... definitely wait staff, because she wanted a more personal feel to the restaurant than the bots all the time... and possibly a bartender. But she was open to having someone else help with cooking and come up with new menu ideas that fit the feel of the restaurant.]

[Honestly, Rose wasn't sure what she was looking for when she came to the career fair. She just knew that working somewhere would be a good way of breaking up the routine of the prison - when there weren't any kissing bots around or flying octopuses.

	Mostly wait staff and hosting positions. I do have a need for a bartender, but I haven't gotten to the point of needing another cook or chef, yet. What are you interested in? 	Okay. [That was new, but she had a feeling she could find a spot, regardless. There were a lot of entry type positions that someone without experience could start in and learn from to work their way up.] That would be fine. 	Probably as soon as you can. Today's fair was a bit of a surprise, so I probably need tomorrow to settle up and figure a few things out... so maybe like... two or three days? (Reply to this) (Parent)

	I'd been considering it. Might need to make some bar space. We have alcohol and a place to mix drinks, but not really a bar to really speak of. But, I'd been considering making some changes around the place anyway. It's just been those pesky rehab points. [She laughed.
