[And run he does! Luckily, this is an area where being obsessed with baseball has helped him. It also doesn't hurt that he spent some time getting chased by scary things, but the ground has become an odd combination of soggy and occasionally frozen as they move across it. Only a matter of time before one of them trips and the storm is only picking up. The hail that pelts them is getting bigger and the wind is blowing harder.

Then it happens. He doesn't even know what disrupted his footing but he's lost it and going down, hand still clutching hers.]

	[ It's not the easiest terrain to run in and she's not in the best of shape but fear does a lot and somehow she manages to keep up with him well enough. That is, until he falls and drags her with him. She gives a yelp as she goes down, flailing rather helplessly with her free arm before landing on top of him. ] Ow! [Something flies by, nearly hitting them, but crashing into the ground just about a foot away. He can't see that it's a branch with her on top of him, but he hears the impact. They are going to get really hurt out here. Chuck is going to get really hurt and all she wanted to do was protect her bees. People shouldn't get hurt for wanting to protect bees! It's not right. And that sense of justice in him is what stirs his powers to life.

He doesn't notice the cold, wetness soaking into his clothes. He barely notices the weight of her on top of him or the ache in his body from the impact. His eyes start to glow and his hair seems to grow. A more mature affect comes to his features and his tone—or it will once he speaks.

Another tree limb—a larger one comes hurling at them, but it doesn't strike them or the ground. It bounces off the sphere of energy now protecting them. It glows a faint blue and repels the hail and rain. He reaches out to touch Chuck's shoulder, to guide her up and off of him so that they may stand.]

[He pulls himself up and to his full height which may even seem a couple of inches taller. Strange how that works. His expression is stoic as he surveys the immediate area.

He could ask Chuck if she's alright, but he doesn't need to, easily sensing her physical condition for himself.]

This place claims to protect those it brings here, but it has failed over and over. [A swirl of water begins to form around their feet as he pulls the excess moisture from the ground and some from their clothes too and sends it out of the barrier. It twists and turns like a serpent only to form a dragon's head at the end as more water joins the creature. The rain and hail is all funneled directly into it and debris that had been whipped around by the high winds fall to the ground. The sphere fades now that he has created a larger swath of protection around them for the moment.]

I will direct you to shelter. [He steps forward.]

She's scared. It sucks to admit it but she is. Maybe if she'd had a sliver of a warning that the dorky little kid is apparently a super hero then maybe she wouldn't be, but as it is that promise of protection and shelter just makes her want to brave the storm on her own. ]

[If Yuuri is aware of her fear he shows little sign of it. He keeps their cover in place as they reach their destination, but as the steps grow closer Chuck might notice that the water dragons look smaller and less fearsome than they did before and Yuuri's pace is a bit slower even if there is no less determination. As he reaches for the door to the shelter his slowly blinking eyes fall shut and he misses the knob—instead collapsing to the ground, looking every bit as he did before his transformation except very much passed out from the exhaustion of his magics. As he goes, so does their protection and rain falls upon them once more.

At least he's close enough to drag inside? And there might be someone to help nearby if necessary. Or, you know, just leave him. He's kind of creepy now.]

[ She yelps rather loudly, partially at the sudden ice cold shower turning back on but mostly at the way he just collapses, turning back into regular old Yuuri again. Ignoring the way the rain starts to soak into her clothes again, Chuck kneels beside his lifeless form. ]

Yuuri? Yuuri! C'mon... [ Ugh okay. She can drag him inside. He's a tiny japanese boy and she has determination of steel. Away we go. ]

[Usually Conrad is there to catch him before he hits the ground and then dashingly sweep him away in his arms to a bed or something, but this works too especially since he isn't aware it's even happening.

His eyes open briefly once they are inside before the heavy lids close again. The exhaustion is strong in this one.]

Just going to... [Words coming slowly and softly.] rest my eyes.

[If she finds any cyborg doctors to check him out all vitals will be okay. He just needs rest.]
