[Phanan feels like hungover is not the proper description for his current condition because his head is obviously going to explode and then he will die and it will be tragic. The thunder is not helping. There's another loud blast of it directly overhead and he makes a noise of abject suffering, reaching over to yank Chuck's pillow out from under her so he can pull it over his head.]

[Hangover situation now more or less under control he is out and about around the dome, bag of medical supplies slung over one shoulder in case anyone needs help. He ducks a particularly low flying octopus, narrowly managing to avoid being hit in the face by it.]

[ Who can sleep with a storm like this, anyway? She's been awake for a little while, curled up into a ball under the covers and wondering what kind of messes Gadget is creating since he hasn't tried to hide in her armpit yet. The shameless theft of her pillow has her un-curling though, brows furrowed in displeasure. 

Someone came home way too late and way too drunk last night. He's lucky she doesn't believe in doghouses. ]

[She's out and about in the storm—or lack of storm as the case is occasionally. She's happy to help people get to a shelter. In fact, she's just kind of happy in general. There's nothing like a good crisis to take a person's mind off their problems and letting that bit of relief and happiness come through was all the pink pearl perched on her necklace needed to try and feed from her, drawing out as much as it can.

She has no intention of coming in out of the elements today. Let the storm rage on. The octonado never bothered her anyway.]

[Carol was surprised to wake up to rain. What a strange thing to have in a controlled environment. It's a good day to stay inside, she thinks.

But then it gets worse. She hears a weird thudding on her balcony and looks out the window and what does she find? An octopus, clinging to the rails. But farther in the distance, the wind is picking up and ripping the shingles off the neighboring roof. Maybe home isn't the safest place to be.

She's already got a backpack packed and ready to go. She readied the first aide kit just last night, and good timing too. She throws on a large jacket and slips little Snowball into the inner pocket before zipping up.]

Let's got find one of those shelters, baby.

[So here she is, out somewhere between Sectors 4 and 5, hoping to reach the hospital in one piece.]

[When the weather began to get worse, Rose decided that seeking others out might be a good idea. She wasn't very worried about getting hurt, more about people she was friends with, and a synthetic blood supply. A bag from the clinic would be better, but Rose couldn't afford to be fussy.

She finds herself at the edge of of Sector 4 and keeps on moving, not stopping for anything. Until she spots Carol.

Rose makes her way over to her carefully, raising a hand to catch her attention.]

The wardens message was garbled, but Sarah heard something about safe zones. So maybe she should go there. But... she needed something to do while she was there. A book or something. She headed out and immediately stepped into a puddle that was deeper than it should be. As she pulled her foot out she realized there were... wait a minute...

"Is that a flying octopus?" she asks to the rain before realizing it seems to be coming at her. And now it's time to run.

You'll have plenty of time to dodge, Sarah, because someone just stepped directly in the path of that octopus. And swatted it out of the way with a single gloved fist, not even looking to see where it landed. (Everything's getting wrecked anyway.)

"You all right?" Sailor Uranus calls over her shoulder. She hadn't wanted to come out here today, either. Anybody who goes out in this kind of weather should be prepared to fend for themselves.

But she got some very odd news yesterday. Having something concrete and productive to do has proven to be really cathartic.

Carl had been heading in the direction of one of the safe zones as well. Don't worry though; he has a bat and he knows how to use it! So when he spots Sarah and the aforementioned octopus flying towards her, he immediately runs over and tries to hit it out of the way.

Okay, it was more of "bunt" than a hit, but it kind of worked. It isn't flying around anymore. Now it was laying on the ground. What a waste.

"Are you alright?" he asks as he turns towards her.

[Sam hasn't felt much like being around everyone else since he woke up one day with his soul missing and spent that day plotting ways to keep it gone. The next day everything was back to normal except he knows a little more about his future now and they're things he'd really rather not know. This storm, however, was a good way of forcing him out of his hole. Maybe there's something he can do to help or distract himself or figure out the warden's systems.

Of course seeing a girl struck by lightning isn't the distraction he was hoping for.]

[ Staying in seemed like a great idea at first, but as the day went on Chuck grew increasingly worried about her bees. Thunder and hail and octopus storms... there's only so much little bees can handle and so she braves the weather and the flooded first floor of the apartment complex to go check on her outdoorsy pets. (Gadget is staying inside, like a good sausage puppy.)

She has no intention of staying out long, but the best laid plans... do save her from low flying cephalopods and torrential rains. ]

[ Before making her way outside Bonnie put on layers that were fit for this weather. Or she hoped they would be.

Bonnie needed supplies and she had ran out of essentials in the apartment. Perhaps a shelter or the hospital would have what she needed and there was bound to be other people. Safety in numbers, right?

On her way there Bonnie has to dodge a few falling sea creatures, not wanting to have them land on her face. She reaches the gardens after a short period of time, lifting a hand to shield her eyes from the rain. ]

[ Super-weird storms aren't great to be out in but if it's one thing Aidan's used to by now it's adverse conditions and as a member of the Defence Force and a generally good person, he'll be out in it for as long as he's able. Be it guiding people to the safe houses or trying to minimize the potential damage of flying debris, he's very approachable and also very wet and cold.

[ Vampires don't feel the cold so much. It's one of those perks of being technically dead and for the longest time, Spike was perfectly content staying in bed and smoking but as time passed the incessant whispering of that feeble spark flickering in his chest grew stronger. [Asami's instinct in crises is to try to help people, but she stifles it for this storm. There are people here who can make it through storms and take others with them. She's not one of them.

The least she can do, though, is to get herself to a safe location so that no one else has to worry about her. At least, that was the plan.

So far, she hasn't had much luck. Between areas covered in rubble and ones where the storm is too bad to even try pressing through, she hasn't been able to make much progress towards the education center yet.]
