( claire doesn't listen to reason, or rules, or warnings, or anything else. as a girl from texas, some weather differences are nice. which means she's just going to be kind of an ass, and explore the most dangerous areas she can.

feel free to witness her being victim to multiple lightning strikes, momentarily falling to the ground, then getting back up and muttering annoyedly. or wrestling a broken leg out from under a piece of debris. you know. usual claire stuff. )

( alternatively, she's actually making herself useful. she's trying to gather supplies, but not for herself. she's mostly concerned about getting food, blankets, dry clothing, to people who need it. are you helping her find salvage? maybe. or maybe you're a lucky person she approaches with said salvage, offering something warm or edible or just dry and unscatched, what little she can locate. )

[Sam hasn't felt much like being around everyone else since he woke up one day with his soul missing and spent that day plotting ways to keep it gone. The next day everything was back to normal except he knows a little more about his future now and they're things he'd really rather not know. This storm, however, was a good way of forcing him out of his hole. Maybe there's something he can do to help or distract himself or figure out the warden's systems.

Of course seeing a girl struck by lightning isn't the distraction he was hoping for.]

NO! [He's running toward her, dropping down beside her just in time to see her start to move.] It's going to be okay. [No, it probably isn't, but it's instinct to comfort and that's really all he can do for her now or so he thinks.]

( claire yelps when the lightning strikes her, not out of pain but surprise, and she slumps down. there is a moment when she knows she's probably on the brink of death - again - but then there's a voice. it's faint, and her ears are ringing something ridiculous, but she turns her head slightly. once she starts to feel the tissue knitting back together, her muscles recovering, she laughs. )

I'm fine... Just... Gimme a second.

	My powers are slower, but they're not really weaker. It takes a little longer to recover than it would at home. But I haven't died for good yet. ( she's still looking for something that can make it happen. ) (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
