Okay... keep breathing deeply. Close your eyes if you think it'll help... and pick something to focus on. An object, a person, maybe an event. Try to picture it as clearly as you can. [ Basically a slightly altered version of a cognitive interview. Of course, should she tap into his mind (why wouldn't that happen) she'll find a whirl-storm of fear and anxiety, a lot of it aimed at the possibility of someone reading his mind. Underneath it all, a low humming of grief, ever present but difficult to make out any details of. Like white noise. ]
