[Day 229] [Voice|Closed|Action|Open] WATER BALLOON FIGHT
[It is a hot day. Sweltering and humid and for many it could feel pretty icky. It is around noon when a unfamiliar and obviously modified voice comes over the network. It sounds a little robotic, too high to be normal, but also manic, in a good way. Excited, amused.]

Anyone really fed up with the heat yet? I know I am. So here's your Declaration of War on Humidity. Park your butt on the number four and you'll get yourself a nice splash of color to cool you down.

[There is silence for some time, enough that one might even think that he disconnected. Then it comes back with a laugh.] Or you could just come over to Quatro Park and join in on the fun. [Then there is a disconnect. Someone could try to ask a question, but no responses will be given.]

[Anyone who is Sector 4 and wanders towards Qautro Park might notice that there is large bucket sitting right at the entrance. Look inside and you will see that it is filled to the brim with balloons. Water balloons.

And there are more buckets like this. Scattered all over the park, beside a bench, behind a bush, right in the open in the center of a copse of trees. They are everywhere. All of them full of balloons.

And if you don't look out you might just be hit with one of them. Oh, what's all that red covering your hair and your shirt? Whoops guess these balloons are full of colored water. It might wash out at the end of the day, but be careful now or you could end up looking like a soaked rainbow.

Do you turn back and try to escape? Are you trapped there as a victim of water balloon warfare? Or will you grab a balloon yourself and go looking for whoever just threw one at you?]

{OOC: Water balloon fight! Richie spent the morning putting it together so it's forward-dated to noon and later. Two robots will be there making up more balloons as the day goes so they won't run out for a while and another is hiding in the park to throw balloons at random passersby. The coloring in the water is completely safe and washes out with soap from clothes, skin, and hair. Not that characters will know that at first. Have your characters wander in, get dragged by a friend, become an accidental casualty, anything you want! Mingle away the heat!}

I'll handle it. No problem. [He lifts up a hand to wave it off, and now to start hunting down an someone to pester, pointing a finger and trying to be intimidating.]

Yo! Chilled sake for this table! Gotta make it quick or else it won't be so chilled! Not ice cold, but chilled!

[Then he turns to Lacus.]

Ice cold ruins shit.

	Of course. We couldn't drink it if it's frozen. That would be more like a popsicle. [Lacus fusses with her wet hair, draping it over the back of the booth so it's out of the way.] It will be nice to have something cold, though. 	I put nothing past them. [Her voice takes a turn for that serious, ass-kicking tone she sometimes uses. Not all the way, though, and she veers back to her usual light tone quickly enough.] We can handle anything that comes, regardless. And I do like this more than the winter weather. This is definitely better than tons of snow. It's a good excuse for cold sake and living by the pool or beach. Girls in bikinis, what guy wouldn't find that better? [That gets a smirk out of him, and he looks at Lacus, awaiting her comeback!]

We shall have to find another woman to sit on your other side and feed you grapes while I pour drinks. [Speaking of, as soon as the drinks arrive she does just that.]

[Lacus offers him the larger dish with her usual effortless sgrace and perches the second on her fingers, positioned like he told her.] Is there anything else I need to know before we drink? [The sake dishes don't look like they should be clinked together like normal glasses.]

Perhaps. My body is put together differently. It's more efficient in terms of metabolism and bloodflow and the like.

[She finishes off her drink and goes to pour them both a refill.] The wars I participated in were essentially fought because many natural humans didn't believe Coordinators should exist. And because some Coordinators didn't think natural humans should exist. They were both wrong because we're the same. My enhancements don't make me who I am.
