I'd love to give you a ride anywhere. But money seems to be an issue.

I'd be too scared to learn to ride a motorcycle by myself, but I wouldn't turn down a ride on one if someone else was driving.

I would have taken you! Apparently it's 'not suitable transport for a seven year old' or some such rubbish. I told your Mother it had more cushioning charms on it than I'd had girlfriends but she was having none of it.
