There's geese on the third floor. Sorry about that - I was practicing. Don't step in the poo, children. It is not hygienic and the smell sticks around for hours.

We don't have any chairs left. We're going on a chair hunt.

I like having the option to sit somewhere besides the floor.

So do I. In a perfect world we would have many chairs and none of them would be geese. Sadly, it was never meant to be.

Why were our chairs destined to become geese, of all things?

One was an alarm clock for a moment, but then it became a goose as well. For who can understand the complexities of the human mind?

I suppose a lack of complexities here might explain it.

Hush, you. You are being very hurtful. Think of my sensitive ego.

We can steal chairs from other people's rooms. NO' ONE WILL BE ANY THE WISER!!!

Sensitive ego? Hah! I think your grin could be seen in England from here.

I think they might notice when our room has plenty of chairs and geese and no one else has either. Maybe the staff has extra chairs - and perhaps something smaller or easily replaced you could practice on.

I'm just a cheery bloke.

What are you, the logic patrol? Where's the fun in asking the staff for chairs???

Uh-huh. Right.

Former Ravenclaw here... And the fun is in not getting an angry mob after us. You could go around transfiguring other people's chairs instead of stealing them and putting the evidence in our rooms. Not that I suggested such.
