Speed dating was still one of Darcy's favorite things to do in town and she hoped that if she ever got sent home permanently, someone would pick up running it in her stead.

As usual, there were flyers lying around with suggested questions if people needed some good ice breakers. There were also appetizers and, of course, the bar was well stocked. After the main event, there would be several hours available for folks to mingle, regardless of whether they participated or not.

When the clock struck six, Darcy rang the bell and stood on a chair. "All right, gang. Round one starts when I ring the bell again. Please make your way to the first table on your list. Have fun!" She waited for folks to make their way around the room and, once it seemed like most were settled, she rang the bell again.
