Hi all, I'll be in chat for the next 5-6 hours writing, or at least attempting to, company is welcomed with open arms as always! I am thinking of holding a second drabble night this month as several people expressed interest, but were not available for our last round. Should you have a date and time request please message me below or pop into chat and tell me directly. :D

I was thinking 4 P.M. Pacific (7 P.M. Eastern) Thursday the second (tomorrow for me but probably today for a number of you) I'd do another Drabble/Drawable event in chat. All participants are welcome as are people who just want to cheer them on! :D Several people have mentioned that the ten minute time limit doesn't quite work for them so I am considering making each round 15-20 minutes depending on the needs of those playing. If the time limit has been keeping you from joining in remember: you are supposed to stop writing at the end of the time limit, editing is fair game! :D Everyone can chose which rounds to play and which to sit out and Artists are of course allowed longer than the time limit. These events are just for fun and practice, no one is expecting a fully polished piece of writing or art. I will post a reminder a couple of hours before we start, don't be shy about showing up early or late, I'm usually in chat before hand in case new participants have questions and we frequently run for hours, once we went for 12. Please come and play, the more the merrier! :D

Since it is Harry's birthday and the series has been around for 15 years now, in England at least, it seems fitting to have a chat commemorating our love, and occasional annoyance, with the world and the characters in it. With this in mind I welcome all of you to wander into chat in ~4 hours so we can all talk about the series that is so near and dear to our hearts. Favorite characters (I fully suspect there will be a lot of votes for our boys :P ), favorite plot-lines, favorite bits of dialog, favorite scenes, what have you, come and share them! Annoyances and disappointments are also open for discussion, likely there will be people who agree with you! It is my hope that people lurking and active members alike will join in the discussion. I'm going to run two drabble/drawable nights this month. The first will be tomorrow at 12 P.M. PST (4 P.M EST). The second I am holding the last weekend of the month, most likely Saturday. Remember: Artists are welcome to join and drawable along with us, you don't have to fill every prompt and you can take longer than the ten minutes the drabblers allot themselves (in theory anyway, extensions aren't too rare...) Half an hour per drawing or even more is perfectly fine, the point is to practice getting something down quickly, even if it is just a sketch. I'll throw up a reminder about an hour before show time, don't be shy about wandering in late, we will probably be at it for several hours :D

I'm going to be in chat all evening writing, both for school and for fun. Company is, as always, welcome. Also, I'm starting to think about when to hold this month's drabble night, I do take time and date requests if anyone has any! :D

Yours truly has just moved ~800 miles from home and starts school (again) tomorrow so, of course, I'm throwing another drabble/drawable night this weekend! :D Saturday 1 P.M. Pacific (4 P.M. Eastern). As always don't be shy about turning up late to the party, we regularly play for at least 3 hours, I think we managed 8 hours once, but we had ~12 people playing that day.
