Does anybody know any good ways to kill the time?

So, does anyone have any exciting plans over the summer?

Since arriving a few days ago I've been spending a lot of time in the library trying to research this world. I admit it is most curious.

I've started to sign up for classes and so far have: Muggle Studies, History, Physical Education, Sword Fighting.

What I am wondering - is it possible to take Magical Studies besides Muggle Studies? I would very much be interested in seeing what Ancient Runes and Arithmacy is like. Perhaps the Magical Astronomy too but as I'm what is called a Muggle is that possible?

Good evening, I'm Peggy Carter and I was told that I was to write in this and we could communicate with one another? It is certainly a novel idea. I'm Peggy Carter and have been placed within Slytherin House for my stay here.

I am the new professor of Astronomy for magical students. As one who knows magic albeit a different form of it, and as one who has been literally out of this world, I think I'll make my class interesting.

Hello to everyone who has been displaced. My name is Narcissa Malfoy and I am the Ministress of Magic. I have been working closely with Headmistress McGonagall to ensure that we can attend to all of your needs while we figure out who and why you're here.

Starting tomorrow, you will be able to ride the Hogwarts Express in to London. Please be aware that the train trip is a day out and another day back in, not counting the time you actually spend in the city. You will need at least three days free to make these trips, and as with the Hogsmeade trips, anyone under seventeen must be accompanied by another adult, seventeen years of age or older.

In London, there is another Wizarding town that can be reached by going through the Leaky Cauldron. There, we have a bank, Gringotts. You are able to convert your galleons into muggle money there. I am unsure of what 10 galleons equates to, but the goblins there would be able to tell you.

It is also recommended that those of you who are of age consider taking on jobs at Hogsmeade or within the school as we can not continue to fund things for every displaced individual beyond the ten galleons we gave started you off with. I am sure that the kitchens or the hospital wing could use some extra help.

Those who are underage will want to register for school for next year in the event that you are still here. We are currently considering what to do for the muggle children who are now at the school, so we will keep you updated with that information as we figure out what comes to pass.

Well, my "sorting" as it's called was over in a hurry The house of the serpent, nearly every characteristic of it fits me perfectly I think I will like it in Slytherin. It fits me quite well. And I admit this castle, and the magic.. quite fascinating to be here. I should learn more of its history.

However. As curious as all this is, I also hope it's temporary. I have a company to run back home. Not to mention meetings with some of my friends in the military too, in addition to going over the business plans. But I forget my manners; I should introduce myself. My name is Damien Thorn, originally from Rome, though Chicago has been my home for many years now. Ah, Rome. Now there is a place rich in history.

We thank you for all of your patience as we try to sort out what has happened to bring all of you here. I trust that you all have found your rooms by now. If you need to find anything, the provided map of the grounds should assist with that. If not, feel free to ask any of our staff.

We have made arrangements to allow you to make trips to Hogsmeade at any point during your stay here. Our carriages will take you at any time. Anyone under the age of seventeen must be accompanied by an adult seventeen years of age or older.

Hogsmeade is the village nearby with various shops. They do not carry any muggle items, but you can get any number of things to help tide you over.

We are working on further arrangements to ensure that you are all able to access things you might need.

This must be reversed immediately. I have to be back in my time and world, there's work to be done. Recruiting, fighting for our cause, ending oppression against our species. There's a war brewing and I fully intend to fight it my way If we were brought by magic.. then maybe the answer to returning us lies in magic too.

I've discovered this Slytherin thing, the qualities of those chosen for it. I must say, it would fit me quite well. Very well indeed.

Taking a chance on this, are any of our Brotherhood present as well? Are you with me in this castle? Mystique, Riptide. Emma. Azazel? Any of you. We should stick together, assess the situation and come up with a plan or three.

So is anyone else kinda stoked by all this? I mean, yeah, I totally was not expecting a sudden random vacation at an actual wizard's castle, and yeah, I want to know what's going on just as much as everyone else does, and yeah I want to go home too, but... did we all miss the part where this is an actual wizard's castle? Like with real magic and everything? How many people get that kind of a chance?
