Would you believe that all the gods that people have ever imagined are still with us today?


Across America, just beneath the world we see, exists another world. One full of gods and monsters, of immortals and saints and demons. They walk among us every day and although we don't know it, our every thought fuels their lives.

Nevermore is a game set in the world of American Gods. This particular game has been kicking around IJ in one form or another for years - at the moment our player base is quite small and so we're looking for fresh blood to come join us.

In the winter of 2015/16, the US experienced an increased rate of missing persons, murder, and violent crime. An alarming number of these cases remain unsolved. It all becomes additional political fodder, written off by many as a sign of the darkening times. But a small percentage of the population knows better.

They are secret keepers. They live in the shadows, their true selves hidden from the world. They understand the things that go bump in the night. Because they're one of them. Vampires. Werewolves. Witches. And everything in between, all the creatures of myth that aren't supposed to exist.

In the spring of 2016, as the snows melt away in Chicago, a small group of supernaturals decide it's time to take matters into their own hands. One day, the supernatural residents of the windy city begin receiving mysterious invitations. A club in the middle of nowhere, some one stoplight town no one's ever heard of. Inside those walls you can find just about anything, or anyone; from the pillars of society to the lowliest of criminals, you'll find them there.

The Hereafter is a modern day urban fantasy game for original characters, set in Chicago, IL. We offer both a supernatural slice of life environment, along with an over-arching plot, open to all players and characters to participate in.

In the world of the Hereafter, an unspoken rule has been broken. Someone isn't cleaning up after themselves, and is risking the worst sort of exposure to the underground supernatural world. A vampire house, a dark coven, and a werewolf pack have entered into an unholy alliance, united by the belief that they are superior to humanity. They are gods on earth, humans merely peasants beneath their feet. It will be up to the supernatural denizens of Chicago to decide: oppose them, or join their ranks?
