On a sandy beach stands a house that looks slightly out of place. Over the years, this house has changed, leading to jokes that it’s alive. After all, no one lives there. No handymen are ever seen around it. But the house never seems to look faded or old or in poor repair.

What if it isn’t a joke?

No one understands how, no one can explain it, but the house is quite alive. It can change itself at will, and within this house are doors to other worlds and other houses that exist there, though those houses are not alive.

With sentience, the house has discovered boredom, and loneliness. It has also discovered how to use its power to make not just the doors to its counterparts gateways, but every door in these worlds. Unconstrained by the trivialities of time, any door in any era can lead to this house … so look before you cross a threshold …

FROWARD!
AN AU MARAUDERS ERA SCHOOL GAME
ITS 1975 and things at Hogwarts are the same as ever. Caretaker Filch is still disturbingly attached to his cat, Peeves is still causing mischief for everyone and anyone but the Bloody Baron, oh! and The Dark Lord is still Professor of Defense Against the Dark Arts. Of course, unless you're a member of Hogwarts' secret Walpurgis Society, you probably only know him as Professor Riddle rather than by his infamous alias, Lord Voldemort.

But there is one new thing about this year and that's the appointment of Albus Dumbledore to the post of Headmaster. And unlike everyone else, he's never been completely sold on Riddle's charm. With the new Headmaster watching him so closely for sign of suspicious activity, Riddle's days as a professor just might be numbered -- so he's determined to make them count. This year at Hogwarts is going to get hectic as lines are drawn in sand and the ideological struggle that's been simmering beneath the surface of wizarding society for years comes to a full boil. Will its students be strong enough to face this battle head on, or are they just being set up for failure?

WANTED: MUGGLEBORNS, PREFECTS, 7TH YEARS, 6TH YEARS, ORDER MEMBERS, WALPURGIS MEMBERS, QUIDDITCH PLAYERS, RAVENCLAWS, HUFFLEPUFFS, GRYFFINDORS, SLYTHERINS, AND MANY MORE ...

Nestled between two rivers in the middle of Wisconsin is a sleepy town called Portage. With a population of about 10,000 the town harkens back to a simple life of living. It's your typical small town where everyone knows each other, gossip runs rampant, and you can leave your doors unlocked without worry. The citizens of this town are used to their way of life, but things have started to change, but they're still unsure if it's for the better or worse.

The small town setting happened to appeal to a Hollywood director and producer who decided Portage would make a great backdrop for his recent cop drama film, "Behind The Badge". The movie dealt with corruption from a big town department that seeped into a small town unit. It was highly acclaimed by critics and Portage flourished from the new business and tourism it was developing. The movie did for this small town what "Grumpy Old Men" did for a small town in Minnesota and soon people were beginning to stop by on their travels to see the backdrop for the movie.

A year and a half later the producer couldn't get the small town out of his head and when the idea of for a new small town tv show came up he couldn't help but offer up Portage as a backdrop. The tv show, "Perfection", is now filming it's third season and after even after a scandal filled second season, which threatened to have it cancelled. The plot of the show is a take on "Desperate Housewives" but with a Midwestern twist. The show focuses on the small town that takes pride in a perfect facade for it's town, but underneath it is a town full of corruption, deceit, and lies. It has been praised by critics thusfar.

The majority of the cast and crew stay in Portage while filming so the town is flourishing from the influx of activity, but the townsfolk are beginning to question if the show is hitting closer to home than they had thought before.
