Three years after an asteroid struck Earth and two years after the end of the Long Winter it caused, 90% of humanity is dead. A new world struggles to rise from the ashes of the old, though chaos and anarchy still reign. Bandits, slavers, and cannibals prey on the unwary or those that stray too close to the ruins of the big cities by themselves. There are spots of light in the darkness, however, as other groups of people attempt to live peaceable lives and rebuild society.


After Impact is a brand new post apocalyptic RPG dealing with the struggle to create a new life three years after an asteroid strike wiped out civilization and most of humanity. We are currently in our second game week and the characters are in hot water at a very different Kansas City from the one they remember.

On 25 April 1998, one week before the battle of Hogwarts, the impossible happens: nineteen-year-old Sirius Black walks into the ravaged and war-torn Leaky Cauldron.

He isn't the only one to return; over two dozen witches and wizards from the past appear in all parts of the wizarding world. No one knows why, but a clue lies in who these people are: each played a vital role in the first war.

Some of the returned are friendly. Others are as bloodthirsty and sadistic as they are in modern times. And after the dust has settled and Voldemort is gone, they still remain.

The war is over, but everything is changing. And no one can predict what's going to happen next.

You open your eyes and you are in a stately room with fine trappings and thick stone walls. You look outside and a dragon flies passed your window and yet that is clearly a sprawling, modern city you see in the distance. You search your room for any clue as to how you arrived in… where are you? All you find is a scroll welcoming you to The Make Believe Castle and an invitation to enjoy your stay in The Land of Make Believe. And that's when things get odd...

What would you do to stay young and beautiful forever? Would you lie? Would you steal? Would you kill?

Sirens are brought up to do exactly that. A race of woman, capable of luring men with their magical songs, and shapeshifting into birds. Beautiful and enchanting, sirens are capable of unlocking immortality. But it comes at a price. Regularly afflicted with debilitating murderlusts, sirens have a choice. Give in, and kill, or lose their beauty, their youth, and their sanity. The more they kill, the longer they'll live.

For centuries, siren women have made their choice. Some try to kill only when necessarily, while some embrace what they are. Whether they found what they were to be a burden or a gift, it was theirs to bear in secrecy.

Until the Light of May.

On May 1st, 2009, the supernatural world revealed itself to society. And the siren race was listed as one of the top threats to humanity. Sirens have been driven into hiding. Some try to pass as werebirds, some choose a life on the run. No one knows what happens to a siren if caught, but there are rumors of scientific experiments to 'cure' them.

Whatever you decide, one thing is certain. Don't get caught.
