Hello my lovely ladies and gents! I'm here with a public service announcement! From the hp_tarot community on LJ:

The hp_tarot fest is now open for art signups! Fic slots are nearly full, but we still have many openings for artists. Posting starts August 1st, and the post for signing up is here:

Artists have the option of either choosing a to produce a tarot card toward our eventual goal of having the whole deck done, OR create a piece of original art to represent a story/situation dictated by a Tarot reading (which is what the fic writers are doing in this round of the fest).

Okay, peeps...

Some of the best fic I've ever read and some of the most amazing art I've ever seen is being posted, and very few people even know it's there.

I'm talking about The Remus and Sirius Games.

So, you're not into puppy shipping. Or maybe you don't usually read marauder's era fics. I DON'T CARE!! Some of the best writing I've ever read in fanfics is being posted there.

The stories feel so real, and the characterizations are so spot-on. Most of the fics are of a managable size, and so much is written in this lush, believable, thoroughly readable style that it's just blowing me away day after day.

And even if you can't commit to reading, you have to see the art.

Anyway, go there, read, comment, give them some love. It's on livejournal and insanejournal.
