Remus had a nice laugh, but there was something about it that told Kirley he didn't laugh nearly as much as he should. "That's a relief, honestly. And everyone should be aware of their instincts, but I get why it's more important for you." Even a non-transformed werewolf could cause damage; his dad had ranted about it more than once though Kirley had mostly tuned him out.

"No, maybe not. A properly improper orgy then? Is that better?" He grinned back at the other man. "Well, I'm sure I can help them find a purpose. No one, man or elf, should be without one. And in this case, the purpose is to party, even if it's not an orgy."

"Sorry, just trying to put to bed some assumptions that don't need to be carried into this new society," Remus replied easily. He was beginning as he meant to go one with his new position. No more letting disinformation keep floating out there about any race of beings. "But, you're right, everyone should. People just generally don't unless they have to. They should know their own boundaries, too."

He chuckled and nodded. "A properly improper orgy is as good as we can get on that theme, I think." Something about Duke reminded Remus of Sirius -- and not just the memory of the older man's scent all over his friend when he'd come back to the tower a while back. "I'm sure the house elves will appreciate your generosity in providing them with a purpose," he replied with a quiet snort.

"Don't ever apologize. I never do; they're usually empty anyway," Kirley said, waving it away. "Well, you know what they say about assumptions, right?" He grinned, and for once let the opportunity to make a joke about other things that needed to be put to bed pass him by. "People should definitely know their boundaries, so they know where to push them."

Kirley grinned. "That will do. I'll make sure to keep you informed of all improperly proper orgy information when and where applicable." He wondered if Remus would be interested in an orgy, but somehow it didn't seem like the other man's sort of thing. Pity. "Oh, I'm very generous in all sorts of different ways."

Well, that was telling enough, Remus supposed. He rolled his eyes at the jest. "And that would be precisely why they need to be put to rest," he replied with a shrug before raising an eyebrow once more. "Or where to enforce them when others try to push them."

There seemed no end to innuendos with this one. He was starting to remind Remus of some of his previous customers who thought they had to talk like it was a hook-up instead of a business transaction. "I'd appreciate that," was his dry reply. Then he could avoid them. Snorting softly he shook his head. "I'll bet you are. And the house elves will appreciate it. As will your daughter," he added with an innocent smile.

"I bet you will," Kirley said, then gave Remus an assessing glance over. "You're awfully interested in my daughter's happiness and what she will or will not appreciate. Should I be concerned? Break out my stern Dad voice?" He paused for a moment, let the idea settle a bit, then made a face.

"Because between you and me, I'm not sure I have one. At least, not to be applied to this context." He was very willing to break out the stern voice in other, more pleasurable contexts. "But since it matters so much to you, and more importantly to Savannah, I'll go see what the elves can do about a celebration."
