I'mmm Marin and I'm the other mod (assistant mod, really; Meggie is a beast) and I'm also starting off with three characters, as follows:

Wilhelmina "Mina" Tran (

resentfully), Ebonhide senior. Event Committee, drama diva, academic monster.

Mina still calls herself Canadian despite having lived in Utah for the past five years with her shitty stepbrother, Diego. Mina's the kind of girl we might euphemistically describe as having "fire", i.e. she's moody, overambitious and outspoken, with a sharp tongue and tendency to try to take over anything she's involved in. Her arrogance is really overcompensation for her horrible lack of confidence, and anyone who gets behind that mask will find her to be... OK, I wouldn't call Mina sweet, but she's capable of caring very deeply.

Mina needs friends! Exes! People who can't stand her bossiness! Her baby sister, Estella!

Sylvester "Sy" Stoker (

stokers), Coppertale junior. Quidditch captain & Chaser, athletic monster.

Sy is the most alpha douchebag of the alpha douchebag house. Challenge his place as the biggest toughest dude around and Sy will not hesitate to deliver a beatdown, which has gotten him into a shit ton of fights and would've probably made him a terrible candidate for Quidditch captain if this wasn't Coppertale. (I kid, I kid, you're all great people!) When Sy's a bit more chill, he makes a surprisingly supportive friend, always willing to aid and bet his pals in all manner of bad ideas.

Sy needs... friends, exes, enemies, bullying victims, prefects who try to rein him in, Quidditch teammates! Oh and he also has a twin sister in Ribbonfin :)

Ravinder "Ravi" Dhaliwal (

paladins), Ribbonfin senior. Prefect, LARP enthusiast and... not a monster at all actually.

Ravi is a Muggleborn who previously attended Ilvermorny, and is so caught up in getting to play a chivalrous knight in LARP that he tries to act the part in real life. He's into horseback riding, archery and fencing; strives to be unfailingly kind and polite to everyone, and never breaks rules or does anything wrong(????). He's also a 17-year-old boy who's never really let loose except outside of LARP, and is starting to realize he might need to change that, this being his final year of high school before he goes for Healer training.

Ravi needs friends! Fellow LARPers! I can't think of anything else!

HI MARIN! :D :D This game looks fantastic! Camp + wizarding school = DREAM COME TRUE.

MINA: Rox hates your bossiness! Your intelligence intimidates her! I imagine they Have Words every now and again?

SY: Okay, so I want to say they are friends with a tendency to pull opposite directions and fight about it. From what I saw in the veritaserum thing, it does seem to me like they'd probably get along most of the time but that it'd be unrealistic for two people so domineering NOT to butt heads on the regular. I think that his captaincy may strain their friendship quite a bit more than usual since Rox is so DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO and that is literally his job now. She sees him as a friend so she's so used to being on even ground when she's at odds with him that I think it'll be reeeeeally hard for her to accept even if only on the Pitch that what he says goes. I can imagine they've had tons of fun shenanigans over the years because bad ideas are her favorite kind of ideas.

I don't know if that sounds right to you but let me know! It's possible she could have been one of those girls he briefly dated. It could have fizzled out once things became physical like I read is a common end for his relationships or it could have just exploded spectacularly before it ever really got to that point because that might even be more likely.

RAVI: Rox has SUCH FUN with you while LARPing. She loves to play the evil orc/ogre/giant/demon/whatever to your chivalrous knight. Somehow, she makes those foam weapons really hurt when she's swinging them at you but she always apologizes. SHE WISHES YOU WERE AS FUN OUTSIDE OF LARP AS YOU ARE IN IT! Rox wants to be a bad influence on him and push him to party and break rules but omgggg he's so straight laced. I think she's just about given up on having a good time with him out of character but from the sounds of it he might actually bend to some peer pressure this year. Yessss!

Hi Karissa! Thank you so much!!! omggg I'm sorry to take so long to get to you. Me and Meggie were like OH MY GOD YES while reading Roxie's profile and realizing what huge brats the Coppertale team were going to be, lol.

MINA: Yeah, absolutely! Neither of them seem like they'd shy away from a fight or trying to start shit. Mina's probably intimidated by Rox because she seems so effortlessly cool and self-assured—obviously that's not the whole truth, but Mina tends to make snap judgments about people and gets jealous easily. 8(

SY: Yes yes yes, that sounds dead-on. I imagined they've been great friends since they're both rough-and-tumble and love Quidditch and have the same I DO WHAT I WANT attitude. Sy won't be good at balancing Being A Friend and Being The Captain, so that tension sounds right to me, but I think the best way to handle Sy really is to butt heads with him. He has to learn to compromise. 8( Sy will have always been on Roxie's side so long as the person she was opposing wasn't him, and I think it'd be really interesting to see them navigate this new status quo.

omg, I'd totally be down with them dating briefly. Maybe last year? Sy is like... OK with flirting and making out but when it starts progressing to further than that, he'll freak out and self-sabotage. Like one day they were just arguing in the cafeteria over something stupid and he purposefully blew it up to a bigger deal than it was and Rox responded to that aggression with MORE AGGRESSION and they broke up then and there. I would like to think it took only a day or two for Sy to be like "ok forget about all that dumb shit, we're better as friends anyway right???" Maybe Rox punched him in the shoulder and they've been fine since, lol.

RAVI: HAHA Ravi is genuinely fond of Roxie but yeaaah, he can be a stick in the mud. He is DEFINITELY more fun when he's in character, and can sometimes to be surprisingly open to the questionable suggestions of Rox's chaotic orc/ogre/whatever... Sometimes he lets himself play a rulebreaker. ;) He probably thinks it's fun that Rox gets really into it with the foam weapons, and he'd be happy to spar with her and work on some ~cool moves~. And look Ravi DEFINITELY needs some people to be bad influences on him this year, so the next time there's a party, Rox should try some of that peer pressure on him. :o

Hi! Kurt's in Ribbonfin, went to Ilvermorny, and is in equestrian club. If nothing else, he and Ravi would spend time in the same are on the regular. I feel like Kurt would be interested in being Ravi's friend, but the degree would be up to you bc he's not super outspoken or assertive, so he'd be anywhere from appreciating Ravi's general disposition from afar to quietly seeking advice when he needs it to super besties (I have no idea).

Kurt also has been known to creep on the LARP club from a safe distance, doing the "I'm sitting here reading a book and totally not watching you guys" act, but he's totally watching them, and maybe not as good at hiding it as he thinks. To Kurt, it's this really interesting improv drama thing that kind of fascinates him, but he would never think to join himself, and FURTHERMORE (but wait! there's more!) nobody else would know that's why. Maybe the LARPers don't notice, or if they do, maybe they think he's watching out of malice ("lol nerds"), or that he does want to join, or that he has a crush on one of the members – who knows! I think that would obviously be up to player(s) with characters in the LARP club to decide, and no so much my call.

So luckily, Ravi is relatively outgoing and makes a point of approaching the younger Ribbonfins and getting to know them, so he'll have definitely tried to befriend Kurt. c: I'd love for them to be friends, probably because of Equestrian Club? Maybe not super close because otherwise by now Ravi would've tried to talk him into trying LARP, since I'm sure he's noticed Kurt hanging around! But maybe this year he'll see about recruiting new members and try to gauge Kurt's interest.
