HELLO GUYS, Alex is back again!

RILEY MAE STAMPER, Azurcrest Junior, lookit her here. She's a little bit of a thing from Alaska, where her mom runs the Kenai School of Magic. She's fun, she's feisty, she's the most stubborn thing to ever happen, and she has a short temper and tries to get in lots of fights. She spent last year as an exchange student to Hogwarts, and where she was a Slytherin and also a fucking loser. She cried in Moaning Myrtle's bathroom a lot.

BUT NOW SHE'S BACK! Azur Cheer Squad, drama kid, events committee, she's trying to get back into the swing of things Stateside and back on top.

Give me friends! Fellow #cheersquad! Azurcrest girls! Hair dye buddies! GIMME THINGS ILUALL I'M SO EXCITED.

I WAS SO EXCITED WHEN YOU HELD RILEY. I made that name up and I was so pleased with how cute it was that I didn't let Marin touch it.

ANYWAY, #CHEERSQUAD. Diego's in Azurcrest cheer and drama with her! He's a beefy dude but also pretty short, so with Riley being so small they might get teamed up a lot for lifts in cheer? Aside from that, Diego's also fun but way more mellow and eager to please, which means he'll handle Riley's aggressive personality pretty well. If she loses her temper on him his only reaction will be to try to immediately smooth things over by any means necessary. Also, parties, fun, etc.

Reid's in her year, and they share a few classes! I don't think he really would know how to handle Riley. SHE IS A LOT. And Reid only really knows how to rile people up by feigning apathy when they're angry with him, so she can rage against that wall and he'll be shitty and PA about it. USUALLY HE'S PRETTY PASSIVE THOUGH and Riley can just push him around 9/10 times.

Calvin and Riley are like flip flopped versions of one another. He's a former Slythern, came to Gooseberry and it turns out he's a fucking loser, but now he's trapped in the HAHA YES AMERICA IS GREAT I'M SO POPULAR HERE lie. I guess he also made friends and stuff that he loves but WHATEVER. His old Slytherin buddies were a year below Riley, but probably took the opportunity to pick on the tiny exchange student anyway. He'll be curious when he learns she was put in Slytherin.

IT'S AN ADORABLE NAME and it goes with tiny riley stamping her tiny feet. And also Sometimes a Great Notion is one of my favorite books and it's about a Stamper family and I HAD TO OK.

Ok so Riley is going to be way too overly affectionate with Diego, like, "D!! I MISSED YOU, PICK ME UP, THROW ME IN THE AIR CHEERBUD!!" not really noticing or caring if it sends the wrong signals. She is needy and not aware of boundaries.

Reid will probably mostly coast under her radar until she's not able to get his goat, then she'll be all "EXCUSE YOU WHY ARE YOU NOT RESPONDING, I WILL MAKE YOU ACT SHITTY TO ME, DO IT I DARE YOU."

Oh Calvin, turns out American and British popularity are, like, exact opposites of each other. She is not going to be sympathetic or kind about it, like you might expect from someone who just went through the same thing because she has to keep up the facade of "I WAS SO SUPER COOL IN BRITAIN AND HAD SO MUCH FUN HAHAHA OH GOD WE'RE GREAT." BUT that doesn't mean she'll start out being mean, so they can talk and discuss Slytherin and being in those damn basement bedrooms and how it cannot be good for your health.

IT WAS A GOOD CHOICE A+++

Diego will be SO HAPPY to see her again~ Cheerbud~~ IT'S BEEN TOO QUIET WITHOUT RILEY MAE. They can flirt inappropriately until she's finally like UHM NOT INTO DUDES THANKS. He's also needy though so if she wants to keep pretend flirting he will soak up that attention like the emotional vampire he is.

He will be shitty in the most infuriating passive aggressive WHATEVER I DON'T EVEN CARE I'M JUST GONNA WALK AWAY way. WHAT A GREAT MATCH.

To be fair, Calvin's not the sweetest soul either, and doesn't want to talk to anyone about his spectacular fall from grace. He already has all of Ribbonfin FRANKLY BEING DISCONCERTINGLY NICE TO HIM. Anyway, yeah, the dungeons were the worst what was wrong with Hogwarts.

Awww yeah Riley. OK, Sy's ALL ABOUT hitting on cute cheerleaders, even ones who are terrifying like Riley. Actually, especially ones who are terrifying like Riley. I'm not sure how well they'd get along—they're both spoiling for a fight, but Sy is way bigger and stronger than Riley so... there's only so far he can let that escalate, lol. But they both like to have fun AND they both got banned from Duelling/Fencing so maybe they can bond over that?

Mina shares Drama and Event Committee, and always needs to be In Control of the show, which I'm sure will mesh badly with Riley wanting the centre of attention? Mina's also upfront with her dislike, and will be glad to verbally throw down. Or physically, even. :|

Ravi is a prefect who (gently) tries to enforce the rules, so he might have a few kerfuffles with Riley. But he can calmly weather people who go off on him, so maybe in the long run they can be friendly. c:

OH YEAH SY, THERE IS GOING TO BE SOME BACK AND FORTH. She'll simultaneously encourage his flirting while also saying, "Yeah no thanks boy, not into it" because she's awful and speaks in mixed signals apparently. I also feel like they end up having detention or some kind of punishment together sometimes, and when they see each other they're like, "lol you too huh?"

Mina/Riley cat fight 2013. Or 2014, might take a minute. WATCH OUT KIDS, IT'S PROBABLY GOING TO HAPPEN, and will probably lead to at least Riley getting kicked off the event committee, whoops.

I feel like Riley tries to cajole Ravi and talk him out of docking points from her, like she's trying to talk her way out of a ticket. Then when that doesn't work she calls him names and storms off, like SHE GOT THE LAST WORD, even though SHE STILL GOT IN TROUBLE.

Oh my god, yes. Sadly Mina doesn't have veto power in Event Committee (Mr. Hightower is too practical for that) or else RILEY WOULD BE GONE so they can just glare at each other from across the room >:E

LOVE RILEY. They're in the same year, a couple of classes, and Drama together. The possibilities are endless! And I have a proposal! I propose ~~marriage~~ that they were Drama rivals in their first year, whatever that means. BUT NOW THAT SHE'S BACK, and he has his Kurt 2.0 Project (tentatively titled Be Assertive And Outgoing And Other Horrible Adjectives Why Did I Think This Was A Good Idea), maybe he's realizing he has more respect for her ~~bull-headed~~ assertive nature, and having her as a friend might actually be a good idea, and that he should extend an olive branch? (Don't worry, they're both in Outdoor Education – it probably won't be poison ivy). He'd def almost never challenge her, so the confrontations would be few. (I mean, he's a total push-over... for now.)

DRAMA RIVALS DRAMA RIVALS DRAMA RIVALS. Riley is going to come stomping into drama like The Bitch is Back, and probably be all defensive and nose-wrinkly at Kurt at first. Like, "uh yeah ok, hope you don't think you're getting all the good parts this year, last year was a vacation for you." But then she'll soften and just consider him Not An Enemy. Maybe eventually she'll be inclined to Fight a Battle and Defend His Honor once or twice.
