Dominic Tremblay

HI FOLKS! I was supposed to be writing a six week English unit on Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, but then this happened. Oops.

Dominic is the Junior male Prefect for Coppertale. He's more subtle than most of them, being bold as brass but knowing when and how to pitch it when prefecty things become necessary.

He's French-Canadian, coming from small town Québec, and his dad owns the chain of inns that allow entry to the magical areas of the capital city of each province. He has a little sister who will be an Ebonhide Freshman this year.

French is his first language and coming from where he does, his accent is on the broad side. He can and will troll people in two languages regarding said accent.

He's a good egg with designs on becoming an Auror, so he's taking all those related classes. He's one of those sickening people who passes easily and doesn't really worry about school work, and has an odd habit of trying to take a different random route to the school buildings at least once a week.

Wellll, Ree is gonna slobber all over him probably, lbr. The Quebecois accent, man. Hotttttt. She's gonna make him be her boating partner like all the time. Wait do they have partners in boating? She does not care.

Isaiah probs doesn't know him super well, not being in too many extracurriculars with him, his house or his grade, but also being...well, Zay. SADFACE. He would also think he is super cute though?

POSSIBLY IT IS JUST ME, THINKING LUCAS TILL IS HOT.

I actually used to work a few miles away from the home town I gave to Dom. The Beauceron accent is... pretty unique XD He damned well makes the most of it where possible and that also goes for inventing boating partners. He'll go along with that because hey, why the hell not?

Dominic winks. Because apparently he has his troll-but-not-in-a-mean-way moments XD

MY MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION IS, if Dom is in a relationship with a girl, will he refer to her as "ma blonde?" pls say yes. "Mon chum" is the most vital Québécois slang in my repertoire right now (next on the list: "c'est swag," but that might be more of a France-French thing, idk.)

Kurt and Dom have Charms & Transfiguration together, and they do Outdoor Exploration together. They were also in the same Ilvermorny year (though different houses) soooo I'm thinking they should probably be palz. Especially since Dom's profile says he seems to make it a point to chat with the shyer ones.

Oh god, you have no idea how long it took me to shift my vowel sounds away from Québec French after I lived there. I'm now sitting giggling like a lunatic remembering some of my fails XD Now I am determined for him to date a girl so he can use this slang and confuse the fuck out of all the other non Quebec peoples, ha ha!

YES ALL THE FRIENDS. Especially because it would amuse me if Dom was pals with someone so quiet XD

Reid and Dom are buddies, y/n? 8) Just be gentle on him with the trolling, Reid is so easy to talk circles around, and if you get another language in there.... he's toast.

If Dom likes illicit drinks and parties, he'll at least know Diego in passing! Diego would be friendly with Dom, and like his spirit. They're in outdoor exploration together.

Calvin is a little OVERWHELMED by Dom, who's handsome and has an accent and all that. If Dom's got a little steel to him, I think he and Calvin might handle one another fairly well? Particularly if Dom ever stood up for him against Sy. And Ree likes Dom, so... Calvin's going to be more inclined to soften up and be a good wingman to his buddy in her quest to land a hot blond.

I think Dom won't be able to resist occasional trolling because he's that kind of guy, but he'll lay off and not give him the worst. Definitely friends!

I think he'd be friendly with Diego too. I really doubt that all of the prefects would be anti parties, lol! As long as the thrower didn't do something stupid to get them all caught, or hurt, Dominic is probably pretty relaxed.

I think Dom has learned not to jump in every time Sy starts verbal sparring, but if whoever he's with looks genuinely upset or there's something else going on, he'd try and get him to step off. And yay wingmen ;)

	Hi there! I'm Emma and I have another foreign student! Katya Ivanova is from Russia and just showed up in the US a few years ago. English is her second language as well so they could totally bond over the silly Americans as well as being the Junior Prefect for Azurcrest so I can imagine they have run into each other there a few times. 	Hi Emma! They would have connections through prefect stuff I'm guessing, maybe they've patrolled together at times where two different houses were needed? I feel like their houses generally get on pretty well. He'd like her and she's pretty too, so he sees no hardship in this friendship ;) Yay for another non American ally, lol! YEAAAAH ok so I think we know how Dom and Sy will get along. No matter how he acts, Sy does think of Dom as one of his friends. :c And hey maybe he'll finally learn some maturity this year, Dom!

Mina thinks Dominic is a catch—handsome, smart, not a huge wuss—and hey, they're both Canadian! From opposite sides of the country, but still, it's nostalgic to get a taste of that Québécois accent and Canadian politeness. Too bad Mina's not very polite LOL but if Dom's smooth and stays out of the way, Mina won't use that sharp tongue on him.

And Ravi's in Archery and Duelling with Dom, and they're both prefects, so Ravi's familiar with him. c: Ravi's probably glad that Dom is so level-headed and reliable, especially when compared to his housemates, and knows he can go to him to discuss issues if they ever come up.

That's because he IS a catch, Mina! ;) he gets on pretty well with Diego but he's not going to get involved in their drama because that's just unnecessary, lol. He'd make a point of trying to get on with her because of sticking together reasons! Plus, his baby sister will be sorted into Ebonhide, and he wants those guys to be nice to her even if they aren't going to keep an eye out for her particularly.

Yeah, Dom hates that people see his housemates as unreliable, so he probably makes the point of being good at handling them so people cut them some slack!
