There's been an attack! A huge explosion at Westminster Abbey! The Minister thinks it was  a weapon of mass destruction hidden in one of the Guy Fawkes bonfires. Apparently everyone within fifty feet of the Abbey is dead or terribly wounded, and multiple people in the area went blind! They're estimating over fifty dead!

I think he's going to let me come with him to examine ground zero.  I'll keep you posted if it ends up being Death Eater related. Seems like too much of a coincidence to me!

I've proposed last night and Dani has accepted. We shall get married on the 18th of November at six in the evening. Both ceremony and reception will be held at the Higgs estate where she's currently staying.

I suppose this is something best done in person, but we are in a rush and I'm hardly the most affectionate person. What I'm trying to say is would you be my best man?

With Ginny leaving the country, it's up to decide what to do with Mum and Dad's property.

I know none of us has wanted to go through their things, but we probably should and see who should get what. I think Mum's jewellery should go to Ginny, but we can discuss that too.

The bigger issue is the Burrow. It's not exactly an estate we can divide by six. To be honest, I'd burn it to the ground considering all that has happened there, but I'll settle it for selling it. What do you guys think.

Harry is dead. They got him at Privet Drive...someone needs to go to Ginny, and someone needs to tell George in person. The House Elf is still following him, but I have no idea how he's going to take this. I have to let Hermione know.

I understand that we don't know each other well, but Ron knows that I considered him family and it's for this reason that while I was hesitant, I decided to write you.

I had the opportunity to speak with George on Friday. At first he seemed fine, but the longer he talked, the more paranoid he seemed, and I mean more so than justified under the circumstances. He's carrying around pellets that can paralyze and kill, even if touched by mistake if you have any injuries including the paper cuts. He even said that he's still testing it.

Besides how dangerous it is considering the accidental risk, using some kind of Muggle weapon seems risky when it's untested and untrained.

That wasn't my biggest concern though. I've met a lot of unhinged people thanks to my father and he seemed... well not in control.

I thought you should know.

I thought it'd be illuminating to have dinner together. This Friday at 7:30 at the estate.

Charlie, are you there? I've just put Ben to bed and wanted to make sure you're alright before I turn in for the night. I'm sorry I didn't get chance to come up the the cottage today. I wanted to and I fully intended on writing yesterday as well, it's just mum's been under the weather and so I've had to take some time off work to look after Ben. I would have normally found somebody to babysit, a friend or somebody we both knew, but with things being the way they are Terry and I are probably going to stick to having him ourselves if my parents are unavailable. Not that Terry is too keen on my parents having him, but we don't have much choice at the moment.

Anyway, I didn't write to go on about childcare. I wrote because I miss you, so much. I don't even know how much longer I can go on sleeping in an empty bed, wondering when the next time you'll be here with me is going to be. It all just feels so messed up and out of place. I don't even sleep the same without you here. I should be with you, there to help and... I feel useless.

Charlie,

I'm just at lunch and wanted to make sure everything was alright. I know that's a really stupid question considering, but do you need me for anything? If you're struggling with things or if any of you need another pair of hands then I'd rather know so I can help- or at least try to anyway.

Just- I miss you and I love you. I know it's been a horrible few days, especially when you're not remembering properly, but try not to get too wound up or frustrated over it all. There's plenty of people both here and at the Ministry looking into the hex that hit you so that's something and surely it's only a matter of time before some real progress is made, yeah?
