I realize what I was told after finding myself in the not-hospital wing, but I'm having some problems coming to terms with this... I know that the Room of Requirement gives you whatever you need, but isn't this a bit of a stretch even for it, isn't it? This isn't what I needed at all. And the way it's been explained to me this seems far fetched, even for Hogwarts, ~~in fact I'm becoming more and more certain this is a Death Eater plot~~.

My name is Frank Longbottom. I'm the Defense professor at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and I'd very much like some answers that make sense if that isn't asking too much... Alice is going to kill me...

Well I didn't say that... You own a sweet shop. Well, this is an interesting turn of events. Suppose I may just have to chase you to get rid of all that excess energy.

I think I would have remembered something like that. Your wife telling you she's been in an... what is this an alternate dimension? - For X months generally sticks. Not to mention the fact that we'd have had to investigate... From what I've read it seems we're not in control of a lot of things here.

Neville and I are about as safe as we can be. A lot has happened, Ali. Not all of it good. We're still reeling from last year. ~~What to say first?~~ Nev has graduated, he's coming back to the school for extra training, dragging his friends along places, seems that that bloody prophecy couldn't be outrun or ignored. Neville just wrote to me. I'm really glad to see him. (That booklet said that Lily was here too?)

Someone had the make sweets or I might have perished! I've got a loyal following now, though. They keep me from eating all of it. What if I let you catch me from the start, will you be more creative with how to burn off that energy?

It's been just a month now, but Neville's been here longer, poor dove. And no, we're not. I was a chicken last week, albeit one made out of fabric. The boy version of Nymphadora was some blue puppet, and quite taken with me.

[ ... ] ~~Our baby boy~~ What was last year? Why's he coming back for more training? [ ... ] No, I don't need to know. I'm just happy you're here. I saw that you're teaching, but Hogwarts isn't something I was expecting.

There are lots of Lilies here, but our Lily is one of them, yes. Neville's from a different world, and further ahead than you are, but no less brilliant for either of those factors. Naturally I've been treating him as if we're from the same world, because he's still our son. I don't think our Nev would mind, nor would the Resistance World version of us, should either show up here.

And who better to make your favorite sweets than you. I see your train there. Maybe I should give up the fighting business and come and work with the confectioner with the big beautiful eyes... One thing I can say for certain, luv, age has only given me more time for devious ideas.

I need to talk to him, Ali. I want to tell him everything. It's been two weeks since I've seen him and Albus was being... well... he and I have been arguing quite a bit recently. Me and Albus. About what's best for Neville. The boy isn't a boy anymore, he's a man.

Last year... Alright, start at the end and working my way back. Lily got kicked off the teaching staff halfway through last year by the person the "board of governors" chose to replace Albus. When he came back, given Lily's absense, he wanted someone from the Order to take over. They were short a Defense professor so I volunteered. I'm helping Neville train as much as I can. Our little boy... he was- that damned prophecy caught up with him a few years ago.

So she is here... Well, I can't wait to see her. World doesn't matter, he's ours. I want to see him, Alice. What do you know about his world?

That and no one was volunteering. You know how I get without my fix! Are you sure if you went to work for that confectioner that production wouldn't decrease? The proprietor of the sweets shop has to think about her bottom line.

An experiment turned us all into puppets? Well, all of us that were in Iota block. Someone called us muppets but I don't really know what the difference is.

Talk to Neville? ~~Why haven't you seen him? What's Albus~~ About what? Why doesn't Albus have Neville's best interest in mind? That doesn't make sense, Frank. And I don't care if he's a man, he's always our boy.

She is, and I'm sure she'll want to see you, too. She's even younger than I am. And I'm sure Neville will want to see you, too. I only know what the pamphlet says, really. I haven't wanted to press too hard. I've been getting to know him, instead.

Oh I do... and I remember many a fun evening of getting that fix provided for. You know I'd really love to get your mind off the business and into a ~~bed~~ house somewhere.

Yes, talk to him. He's here after all! ... Albus... he is looking out for what needs to be done. And I don't agree with everything he says. Which is one reason I took the job. I'm helping train him. Whatever is coming, he is going to have as much backup as we can give and our full support!

My personal favorite is the time we made James go out in the thunderstorm at midnight when I was nine months along. [ ... ] Is that so? I believe you mentioned time to think up new exercises? That sweets shop happens to have a flat above it, you know.

James is one of the good ones. You realize if he knew that the three of us were here that he'd probably start a search? I'm going to assume that - since I didn't have stories from you of being here - that they don't know we're gone?

Oh I've had all the time, luv. And some of them have been Well practiced... And now I must draw up some plans.
