It seems like a big milestone, twelve entire months of this, but sometimes it felt like surviving just one was an achievement. Momentum kept me going through most of it, to be honest, there's no trick. The things I've gotten to do in the past year, though, the things I've learned [ ... ] I wouldn't trade that for anything. Not even the bad parts. Not even this part, that hurts more than I thought it would.
