Well, I know this is late but I'm going to go ahead and post. I managed to finish all but one of the things on my list; my ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/community.gif) harry_holidays fic. It's due tomorrow and I am still frantically writing on it even as I type this out.
I can't post the link to my snarry_holidays fic as it's an anonymous exchange BUT, posting begins on that fest on the 13th so I hope you'll all check it out and see if you can guess which one was mine. LOL!

This round of the Finish-a-thon is officially over. Sorry about the delay, but this week I'm getting internet from coffee shops. I'll have the cable installed in my (new!!) apartment Monday. RL has been crazy. o.o
I will work on banners and such in the meantime.
I'll run another fest, roughly Jan-Feb. Too busy before that with Nanowrimo and holidays, and most of us have holiday fests to work on.

Instead of setting myself up with particular claims to finish (because I have so many and my muse is annoyingly stubborn), I decided to write for any of the claim/s I've signed up for and set a word count goal of 6,000 words.
I got 8,077 words written in October (typed up, anyway!) and my complete list of fics (along with separate word counts) can be found here. |

Well, RL got in the way of writing again. Things are not looking good at all on my finish it list.
However, I do have chapters 1 and 2 of "Shades of Grey" written and beta read. My goal was to get through chapter 3, but at least two chapters is progress. I didn't finish two large items on my list, but I did put substantial effort in on them. I guess progress is better than nothing. |

And there is one important thing I learned this month. Legolas and the Elves of Lorien may never get finished. Apparently I need to be in a certain mindset to write that, and you know, I'm really good with never ever being in that mindset again, since it comes from being very very depressed and desperately needing to cheer myself up. So if that ends up as an eternal WIP, I can live with that. |

Eee!
So I've finally finished the old Hex Files H/D fics I've had sitting on my compy for months and they are off to beta!
Of course, since we are no where near Valentine's Day anymore, I adapted them to Halloween. Heh, I'm so clever. *g*
I even opened the files for the follow up to Spy and the incomplete D2D AND I began the snarry_holidays fic. Let's hope the muse keeps talking to me. *crosses fingers* |
