Hello hello! Alexa here with my second character Isabelle Goyle, the youngest of the three Rosier sisters.

Isabelle is very much the opposite of Bertha. She's a bit more reserve, lacks confidence in herself, is a Pureblood and tries very hard to be the perfect house wife, mother and socialite. Isabelle was a Slytherin (1961-1968) like her eldest sister Beatrice. She was a Prefect for her 5th and 6th years and then Head Girl in her 7th year. Her best subject was Care of Magical Creatures and did not participate in other activities aside from her Prefect/Head Girl role.

Following Hogwarts, Isabelle moved back home and began to take her role in the Pureblood society. She attended various functions, tea times, charity event planning sessions, etc. with her mother and sisters. It took her about 6 years to finally annoy her father so much that he arranged a marriage for Isabelle. She was married to Gregory Goyle III (INSERT SHAMELESS PLUG HERE -- IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED IN APPLYING FOR HIM, I WOULD LOVE YOU FOREVER!!!!!) in 1976. They tried for a child immediately, though weren't successful until the beginning of 1979.

Now, Isabelle has a three month old heir child named Gregory Goyle IV (appropriately). He's finally beginning to sleep through the night and Isabelle is getting ready to make her presence known in the society again. Isabelle is a fun character. She's really shelled up right now, but hopefully her sisters can help open her up a bit. She'd love to get involved in some charity events or planning. She'll know most of the Purebloods and socialize with them regularly.

SO! Isabelle (who does not go by a nickname, save for "Izzie" to her sisters and husband) needs friends, enemies, past love interests, former Housemates, A HUSBAND (HINT HINT HINT), etc etc etc. She's a DE sympathizer/supporter as her husband is a DE (outer circle). Hey, guys! It's Jamie and thiiiis is Melanie Turpin. \o.

Melanie was a Gryffindor from the class of '78 (ohai mwpp&co). In school she was in the choir and dueling club and was also Keeper for the Quidditch team in her sixth and seventh years. But now! She is training to be a hitwitch! Right now she is in the middle of her field world portion of her training. Her original trainer was injured in the werewolf attack on Hogsmeade last full moon, so she has been floating around a bit and due to all of the people who have been taking leave due to injuries and whatnot which has left her shadowing with Sturgis Podmore. Muahaha.

That being said. Melanie is a very bubbly person. She is the sort of person that more often than not looks like this -> :D! It isn't because she just has sunshine and rainbows bursting out of her ears or anything, but she is just a sincerely happy person. She is very friendly and social and is also a deeply loyal friend. Most people assume that the only reason she got into the hitwizard program is because she's a legacy (her father is now in administration), but she really is good. And promising, despite being different than much of the DMLE. She just would much rather drink her hot chocolate and blow bubbles with her gum instead of drink coffee and smoke cigarettes.

HELLO. Dawn here, and I bring to you Amelia Susan Bones! There's a few things that have been changed about her from the previous one, but! I promise to do a run-down on bits and baubles of information on her. If there's anything you'd like carried over from the old one, hit me up, and we'll see what we can do!

• 32, former Hufflepuff (1959 - 1966), Prefect, Head Girl and Quidditch Chaser (1962 - 1966).
  
• Sister to Edgar & Jon Bones.
  
• Widow of Rupert Longbottom, Gryffindor (1955 - 1962), died of a heart malfunction in 1977. He was cousin to Frank Longbottom, and son of Enid and Algie. After his death, she moved back home to her parents and took on her own name. Gossip about that society girls, but with no heir, Amelia felt awkward keeping the name. The Longbottoms were all right with it, though they still consider her a part of the family.
  
• Was an Auror until 1971 when during one of the first battles of the war, she was surrounded and hit with Transmogrification Torture Curse and a Slowing Charm. The combination, along with the length of time it was held (and until medical attention came on the scene) ended her Auror career.
  
• Aside from a few scars, the more permanent damage was to her motor functionality. Her reflexes are far slower than the average person.
  
• Took up the post of Communications Officer for the whole of the DMLE, and just a few years ago, she was promoted to Head Communications Officer. She is very good at her job.
  
• Constantly has to have something she is working on. Tries to know a little bit about everything, but gets bored very easily.
  
• You know at your society parties, how there's that group of women together who talk and laugh? And when you try to talk to them, they're nice and polite, but you always get the feeling they're insulting you when they talk? That's Amelia.
  
• She likes word play, sarcasm (and dry sarcasm), and clever turns of phrases.
  
• Workaholic. Just like her brother.
  
• Doesn't put up with shit from anyone. Except her family.

Amalie is a trained assassin skilled in knife throwing. She's a Harley Davidson enthusiasist and

I MEAN Amalie is a translator for the Department of Magical Law and she looooooooooves her job. Loves it. She's a strong supporter of the Ministry and believes that they always try to get things right, even if they don't always succeed. She's definitely anti-vigilante, and thinks the Order and the Death Eaters are equally law-flouting and therefore wrong. Shit will go down at Chez Zeller if she ever finds out about her daddy's Order ties.

A WILD MICHAEL DAWLISH APPEARS.

... actually a mostly-tame Emily (player of Miriam/Gawain/Peadar/&Cecil for the new folks!) appears in order to introduce Mr Michael Dawlish, big brother of Sarah Cornfoot as well as the lately deceased John Dawlish.

IN SHORT: Michael is 33 years old, a former Hufflepuff/Quidditch captain/Golden Boy, who was severely injured (aka almost killed) this past summer whilst performing his duties as a curse breaker. The accident has left him with a permanent limp, a whole lot of scars, and a decent amount of nerve damage -- oh, and a chip on his shoulder the size of a small island nation. Since then he has been keeping mostly to himself, been mostly depressed and surly, but since John's death in late October he has been trying to get his life back together. He works as a wizarding locksmith of sorts, hiring himself out for setting wards or breaking/creating various enchantments on homes or items. IN GENERAL: less depressed (though still rather surly).

Full information on him is located HERE, & as always I'm up for any plot/backstory if anyone has ideas! He's not the sort to indulge in flings so I can't offer him up for those, but he could do with another ex-girlfriend I'm sure (and while he is a great friend, he is a somewhat subpar boyfriend, so I wouldn't be looking for things that ended particularly well). But anyway! I am up for discussing that as well!

OMG HI.

Robyn here, with my newest, Griffin Dukelow. He's a halfblood (if only just, muggle mother, muggleborn father) and ex-Slytherin (again, only just, he's 19 and finished school last year). He's an artist who is currently living off his parents, but soon will need to get a job because they're not going to foot the bill for much longer, even if they can afford it. (They only paid for him thus far because he was in Paris studying painting and has only been back for like, 3 months . It's a grace period to get on his feet, which they are disappointed he hasn't taken advantage of by getting a real job.)

He's a purist, despite his blood status, and thinks his parents don't conduct themselves right. He thinks the wizarding world should be more isolated, not mingling and tempting discovery the way muggleborns and half-bloods live. He is a lover, not a fighter, but he does think the DEs have the right idea, give or take.

He thinks people should be happy, though, and one aspect of purism he doesn't subscribe to as devotedly is traditionalism. He isn't grossly improper, but he lacks the hoity toity manners, or any inclination to learn. Personality wise, he's kind of silly and a little impulsive and believes in karma and things happening for a reason and etc, but he's pretty quiet usually. He writes more than he talks, but he's still not like... suuuuuuper verbose.

Ummm. He lives in Hogsmeade next door to Felicity Banges and will probably get a job in a shop there. He needs friends, frenemies, past acquaintances, and all sorts of stuff.

Anyway this is IDA WATKINS! She's the eldest Watkins sibling, (HI EDWARD, HI MERE) a Hufflepuff alumna of 1972, aged 25 almost 26! She was in the choir at school, but other than that was kind of a slacker except in Muggle Studies. She's a pureblood, like the rest of her siblings, but has gone out of her way to find out about other cultures/ways of life and finds Muggle stuff crazy-interesting. It also helps that her steady boyfriend of 2 years/roomie for 1 is a complete geek (philous - Philip Catchlove) so she gets to hear about it whether she chooses to or not.

To pretty much everyone but her parents, Ida is a fairly stereotypical pacifist vegetarian hippie who'd support sit-ins and picketing to stop the war over all this fighting stuff and is very generous with her hugs and kisses and affection. She tries not to preach, but she has a hard time dealing with the idea of violence. But she's probably somewhat high 3/4ths of the time you speak with her, is very laid-back, and kind of the peacemaker/mediator amongst her family. She's a seamstress and budding designer over at Twillfit & Tattings in Diagon, and really digs her job. If you like artsy/crafty clothing, homemade jewelery, or earth tones, she has the clothing designs for you! Though she hasn't actually made much money on HER stuff yet.

For all her support of denying labels and being an individual and the government is probably out to make us conform ideas, she's a hypocrite in her own family, wanting to avoid conflict so much there that she tends to be the quiet one at family get-togethers while the rest of the family talks and if there's an argument, even if she usually supports her brothers and sister over her parents, she'll rarely back them up until afterward. Her mum wants her to get married to Phil SO BADLY, but Ida doesn't think she needs a slip of paper to tell the world she and her man are in love.

G'day everyone! Kat here with her fifth and sixth characters (because I'm an overachiever!)

This here is Rabastan Lestrange. (Rabbit to his mother and sister only. Friends and his brother call him Rab.) Rabastan is, of course, the second son and the spare to Rodolphus' heir. He's not overly bitter about that as he enjoys not having the extra responsibility and being coddled by his mother. Yes, he is somewhat of a Mummy's Boy - not to extremes but Mummy has always petted and praised him and given him everything he wants, so... yeah. He loves being a Death Eater and is pretty ambitious in that regard though most people would only know the rumours of a pretty dissolute lifestyle. You can find out all about him here

And over here at notquitebroken is Eileen Snape, who is of course Severus' Mum. She's a first generation Pureblood who fell in love with and married a Muggle and... well, it didn't work out too well. Tobias died about a year ago and Eileen may have had something to do with that. Shhh! That leaves just Eileen and Severus in their little home. She's basically been recovering from years of tension and abuse (almost shellshock really) and has decided that a year is enough of that and it's time to find out what freedom is all about and reconnect with the wizarding world. Anyway... plot/friends/frenemies/enemies/potential wives (for Rab) etc etc. Oh, and friends of Severus can expect to have Eileen poke her nose into their business. :D

Anywho!

Josie hails from Marseille, France, and attended Beauxbatons. She is a Savueterre, which is a pure but progressive thinking family - none of that silly purism for them, kthnx. Basically, she was raised to be a good, pureblood girl, even though she had a hard time with that when she was a child. There were too many times she had to sneak into the house because she got her new dress all dirty and didn't want her mother to find out. She did well in school and directly after, she started to tutor magical children to prepare for their schooling - math and reading are where her expertise lie. Soon after, though, she was matched with Jon Bones, they courted, he asked her to marry him, she said yes! She moved up to London and has been living in England for two years, having brought her tutoring with her as she volunteers her time at the orphanage in Diagon Alley teaching the kids there. Also, she just found out she's eight weeks pregnant but no one knows but her! And her midwife, I guess.

That being said, Josie is a pureblood lady and she's damn good at it. She knows that she married well by snagging a Bones, but she also lucked out because she truly loves Jon. Otherwise, she's poised, charming, and polished in social settings that call for it. When she's just with her friends, though, she can definitely relax. She loves to laugh and loves to make people laugh even more. She loves music and dancing and children. Oh, and she also adores Quidditch and thinks it's the Best Thing Ever. She's rubbish at it, but she loves going to matches. In fact, she's that person in the stands that is yelling and screaming and swearing that she should be out there because she could do a better job, etc. She tends to lapse into French during these moments.

Ohai thar guiez. This is Darcy bringing you the oh-so-hot Giles Vaisey. Here is his info, for those interested. He was a Slytherin from 1954-1961 and has been married to Sloane Vaisey for eight years. He is a lawyer specialising in international contract law and in his spare time he eats death. He's pretty friendly if you're not a muggle/muggleborn, but even so he's careful to keep his feelings on that inside when in mixed company.

WHAT HO, GOOD FELLOWS. This is Emily (rockrates on AIM), with yet another so-and-so!

Bringing the man-train of the most recent adds into the station, I present Peadar MacDougal! He is indeed one of those MacDougals (curse those handsome bastards!) and bears the distinction of being the youngest of the present lot -- at least until his sister Morag is born, which will be happening shortly enough anyway. In the meanwhile, here is a little bit about him:

He just graduated this past spring (RAVENCLAW REPRESEEEENT). He has no job and does not seem to be in any great hurry to find a job. He's bright enough, but was a lousy student in school (he probably drew sailboats and dragons all over his homework). He is easily distracted (see last comment re: sailboats and dragons). He will climb something just because it is there. He is pretty much in love with Quidditch. If you are female, (preferably) pretty, and between the ages of seventeen and the grave, he will probably flirt with you just for the sake of flirting with you. All this and loads and loads more over HERE at his profile!

ANYWAY. Looking for any plot from anybody! Schoolmates? Friends? Ex-ladyfriends? He already has a BFF (WHAT'S UP EFFIE), and while he's a bit of a loner otherwise, he could always use drinking buddies! ... I mean, aside from his aunt (the Bad Influence Aunt).

(And his parents are available to play too! They had Peadar back when they were eighteen themselves, and are only just now having their second child -- also they have a million other MacDougals to torment love them. :D)

G'day all! Kat here, bringing you Sherlock Dorian Ishmael Croaker.... but just call him Ishmael. As you may have noticed, his parents are quite the Muggle literature buffs - he was named after two of their favourite characters as well as one of his paternal grandfather's favourite characters. His parents call him Sherlock, his mother occasionally calls him Dorian (much to his annoyance) but he much prefers Ishmael. And given he wrote to Professor Dumbledore before he went to Hogwarts and asked officially known as Ishmael (Dumbledore was amused and agreed) that's how most people know him. That or just Ish. Or Croaker. Or that weird guy in the DoM. :D

He was a Ravenclaw in the class of '61 at Hogwarts and also a prefect so those who were fellow prefects as well as anyone in his House might have managed to winkle his full name out of him. (Drop me a line and we'll work it out.) He's now working as an Unspeakable, mostly in the Time Room but he does sort of cross-pollinate to other areas as well from time to time.

He is also an enormous dork and people may have seen him walking down Diagon Alley, either heading to work or home, with his nose buried in a book... and they might also have seen him walk into a pole, a wall, another person etc. And he's more than willing to do so in the future. :D

Hey everyone! Dawn here with her 7th character (again :|). Hope Dobbs is the infamous Guy Dobb's neurotic/OCD sister. She's Kenneth McKinnon's secretary which means ALL YOUR AURORS AND OTHER DMLE PEOPLE probably know her.

Egads. Where to start on her. Some of you remember my Heidi Macavoy, and if you do, then this is the younger, even more neurotic version of her. Her profile has a lot of her quirks (things that anyone who spends time around her would definitely notice) - and since there's so many of them, I didn't want to TL;DR here on it when it's there.

That said, she keeps McK on his toes - he's never late to a meeting if Hope's in the office. She remembers everyone's coffee, tea, pastry, lunch, etc preferences and they're all logged in a giant book that she keeps triple (because everything has to be in three's) warded in her desk. Those who were at Hogwarts when she was there will remember her as that weird girl who would randomly stop and play her violin, no matter WHERE she was. She went to the Royal Academy for a few quarters while mentally head-butting everyone and anyone who didn't do things HER way.

So. I realise that she's a hard character to actually make friends with, and a lot of people may not be tolerant of a person like her, but I would love to have a few people who are friendly with her, who might invite her out for pub night or something so she's not a completely loser. :-D AND OF COURSE, ALL YOU AURORS, SHE LOVES YOU AND YOUR SILLY RULES.

HI EVERYONE. Laura here with her sixth (lol again). YAY.

Cyril Warrington!!! is best known as Cecil's older brother, the heir of the Warrington family, umm... husband of Imogen Rookwood and father to Conrad the second. His mother was a Rosier (sister to Julian, Aldrich, Druella, Annalise, etc etc), so he has a lot of family in game, WHAT UP COUSINS.

Things to know:
1) His marriage is not a happy one, but they will put on a front (albeit probably cool and not always successful) in public, and are still trying to make it work for appearances' sake. Cyril himself is increasingly unhappy with this arrangement, but Cecil's the only one who would be aware of that at the moment, though that might change depending on how well Cyril gets along with people! We can probably say that Gus and Dahlia (perhaps Dee?) know that there is occasional trouble.

2) Slytherin 1970. Not a great student, more interested in making connections, was a social climber and still is.

3) Looks bored as hell at work. Charming & a willing (and good) dancer at parties and will pay ladies a great many compliments, OR he'll be withdrawn and quiet and snippy, ONE NEVER KNOWS. Always found with a glass of alcohol if it is being served (and sometimes will smuggle it in if not).

4) Likes to party with his younger cousins (LIKE EVAN) (he says he has to keep them in line) to escape the horror and monotony of his entire existence, so anyone who spends time with them is likely to know Cyril as well.

5) Not really the nicest bloke sometimes, though he tries hard, so if he hasn't said something to raise your character's eyebrow, he probably will. Most of #3 and #5 can probably be explained away by "still grieving for his beloved father." ;)

6) He is a v v v fancy dresser.

That's about all I've got. I don't think he has too many friends within or outside of the society circles, and if so, he'll still keep them all at an arm's length because the man is deeply paranoid that he's going to lose the rest of what he owns. There are very few people who he actually trusts. Just one, actually. Hi, bro. AND his bio is HERE!

YOHAI! This is Khushi and Dahlia Vivian Rookwood! Augustus' youngest sister, the only unwed Rookie left. :D

Well, more like D: because she's 28 (born in April '51) and she should have married by now but her brother holds such HIGH STANDARDS for who she should get married to, and there's always SOMETHING that's just not right.

She was in Ravenclaw, like her brother, and was the Prefect and Head Girl. Your character may remember her as the girl who always went for the best of the best and never settled for anything less. She also knew how to play the cello. And would likely claw your eyes out if you tried to touch it. Yup. She was also a bit intolerant to stupidity. That was Hogwarts, though. Now, she is ever so ~charming~ you wouldn't ever think of her as a DE supporter, part of wizarding charity groups, treasurer of the Ladies' League. But she still plays her cello, and probably would if asked to at societal parties. :D

Hi all! It's Kaitlin here with my third character, the lovely Marissa Avery! Wife of Xavier Avery, Marissa has been incognito the last view months recovering from the deaths of her children. She's still very much grieving and totally devastated, though less so than she would be if she knew of Xavier's involvement!

Even though she's a Jugson, she's a half-blood and caused a bit of a scandal when she married Xavier, who was already in an arrangement with another pure lady. She's tried very hard to be a good wife though, and to move in society, but isn't really a social climber. Hi guys! My name is Brandi, I'm an aquarius, and I like long walks on the beach and frisky ...

wait, wrong meeting.

This lovely lady here is Alexis Ketteridge, though absolutely everyone calls her Lexi. She was a Hufflepuff in the 72-79 school year, prefect, etc etc. Her great-times-something Auntie Elladora discovered the properties of gillyweed by eating it, nearly suffocating, and then dunking her head in a bucket of water. And that's normal for the Ketteridge family. Except, the thing is, Lexi isn't actually a Ketteridge, genetically-speaking. Genetically-speaking, she's more related to the Notts. Because she's Patrice's dirty little secret. He knows that he impregnated a chick about nineteen years ago, but he doesn't know that Lexi was the result of said impregnation. Lexi herself doesn't know that she's adopted (yet, that bombshell comes tomorrow; tonight she gets to be all happy because the Appleby Arrows won today).

Anyway, Lexi is a sculptor. Hence her username (I'm so creative, right?). She absolutely loves working with clay. She's decent at sketching things she might want to sculpt, but her painting skills extend just about far enough to paint the things she sculpts, and not much beyond that. But because you can't make much of a living at all as a sculptor, she works three part-time jobs to try to make enough money to be able to move out of her parents' house. She works as a waitress at an elegant-but-not-extravagant Italian restaurant on Diagon (Fly Me To The Moon), as a shoppe assistant for an art supply shoppe on Euphoria Lane, and as an assistant to Paul Zeller.

Hello! Alie here with character #4, Caracatus Lestrange. :D

So. Caracatus went to school with Tom Riddle (1939 - 1945), was prefect in his 7th year following Voldie's appointment to Head Boy, and has been a promoter of his Lord's Cause ever since. He's currently a member of the DL's inner-circle, and is mentor to his heir, Rodolphus, as well as to Augustus Rookwood, Walden Macnair and Alecto Carrow. His mother was sickly and died when he was very young, and his father never remarried, so Caracatus is an only child who regularly had the ideals of purism literally beaten into him. He employed similar methods in raising his own kiddos (Rodolphus, Rabastan and Celeste), though considerably less so with his little girl. All the same, he is one of those men, who believes that men should be men and women should be women, and holds a considerable amount of contempt for those that try to do a "man's work." That includes female Death Eaters. He thinks you should take off your masks, go put on your dresses, join some charity committee and then go make some beautiful pureblood babies.
