turpinslaw is looking for players! Our wanted list is here, but I thought I'd elaborate on lines that I personally would like to see for my girl, Anne.
HER FAMILY
Sir William Roderick, Esq.; Anne's father. A lawyer very much involved in - and unfortunately humbled by - the hunt for Turpin.
Lady Mary Roderick nee Harris; Anne's mother.
Daniel Roderick; Anne's eldest brother. 32. probably married.
Martin Roderick; Anne's older brother. 29. maybe married.
Edward Roderick; Anne's older brother. 25. maybe married.
THE LOVE INTEREST
Anne is set on getting information about Turpin for herself so she can help in reviving her father's good reputation, which has been veritably decimated by his failures in helping to find Turpin. I'm hoping to find a future love interest for her who is either an outlaw, or a member of Turpin's gang (there is currently one spot open), as a good contrast to her goal of bringing the 'bad guys' down by herself.
THE EX-FIANCE
Anne was in an arranged engagement a few years back to a man she had known since childhood, but he came to her shortly before the wedding to tell her that he was in love with somebody else. He asked her, as a friend, what he should do, and she told him to elope with his lover, though played it off to her family as being abandoned at the altar, despite that she was not truly in love with him to begin with, but was only a friend. It'd be interesting if the man returned to Essex, either a widower or divorced, maybe even left by his wife, and tried to convince Anne to marry him.
