Now that I've finally picked his face, I have a few lines that I would love filled. Anyone interested in:


open Catherine Clarke Sebastian's younger sister. 17-19 years old, she's an open slate for anyone who would like to play her.

open The 2nd in command Sebastian can't be the public face of the pard, and so this person is his close confidant and trusted second.

open The Vampire benefactor The vampire with the ability to "call" leopards. These two can either get along well, or have a strained relationship, but they pay for the pard house on the upper west side.

open The Nimir-ra in waiting Despite the fact that Sebastian has no interest in finding a mate anytime soon, this girl is determined to have the position.

open The unhappy subjects those in his pard who would have rather he lost his bid for Nimir-raj

open The happy subjects His friends/supporters in the pard.

open The Humans His mortal friends who don't know about his inner kitten.

Hello, folks! My name is Chels, and I play Aaron Yamazaki [yamazaki] at fruitful_mod, an original character, futuristic arranged marriage game set in 2049. Aaron is a (perhaps sometimes too) friendly, 26-year-old police officer who tends to have trouble taking life seriously when he's off the clock. He's not that fond of the marriage law at all, even if he's making an effort to pretend that he's okay with it/accept it, now that he's been assigned a fiancee.

As far as some storylines I would love to see filled, we have:

The Little Sister; Jenna Yamazaki, age 21, (obviously) Japanese. This is Aaron's precious "little" sister who he adores, feels overprotective of, "badly" influences to have her own opinions -- all that fun stuff. The player of course has general reign over her personality, but overall, she's kind of the more free-spirited type like Aaron, rather than the stringent and Serious Business type like their older sister Charlotte. Aaron and Jenna keep up a pretty close relationship, despite the age gap, and he would be glad to remind her boyfriends (in a completely friendly fashion) that he's licensed to carry a gun (and he's at least partly jesting~). He doesn't like the idea of the government arranging her to marry a stranger, especially after he worked so hard to convince their parents that they shouldn't be arranged into marriages by their parents, considering it is nearly 2050 and not the 1800s. I've had someone express interest in their older sister, too, so I think it would be fun to have all three siblings in play, if possible.

The College Ex-Girlfriend; Unnamed, age 24-26, any ethnicity. This would be the girl that Aaron seriously dated during his years in college and who he probably would have married if they hadn't gone through a fairly messy breakup and fallout in their senior year. It's really the only girlfriend that he's ever taken seriously (usually he's fairly casual and relaxed about relationships), and it was definitely a blow. Again, general personality is the reign of the player, but overall, she's the more outgoing type and would have been liable to banter with Aaron's weirdness. Being weird with a straight face is one of his favorite things to do. Whether she was actually a nice person or was just good at faking it is up to the player, and she was the one to initiate the breakup, though it hasn't been mentioned in game or determined what the reason was, so that can be worked out with the player. They haven't seen each other since college (so it's been roughly four years).

The College Posse; Unnamed, age 24-28, any ethnicity. These are the guys Aaron and his best friend Jayden Tanaka [punkedmechanics] would have hung out with during their university years. Whether they met in classes, dorms, randomly (Aaron likes to talk to strangers, aherm) will vary across friends, but all the same, they for some reason or another were pulled into the fold. Really most any personality type that isn't blatantly mean/cruel/bigoted/sexist/etc could be someone Aaron would make efforts to be friends with, so there's freedom there, and considering Aaron loves to be surrounded by people all the time, they would have done a lot of hanging out back in the day. How closely they've kept in contact over the years can be determined on a case-by-case basis depending on player preference.

the_next_step is an AU X-Men movieverse RPG set some time after X1. The Institute has been destroyed leaving Wolverine (for as-yet unknown reasons) to rebuild and lead the X-Men. Magneto rules in Genosha. Anti-mutant sentiment is growing and there is talk of a Mutant Registration Act among other methods to control the mutant population.

We're definitely looking for OCs.
