It's a nice day out. Reasonably warm although with maybe a bit of a breeze. The flowers are out, trees have spouted their leaves, the birds are singing...
Alas, the peacefulness is not to last. A shocked scream goes ringing through the air, to be quickly followed by a giant eye flying out of Ed's window. Which, in turn, is followed by a stream of profanity with maybe a little German that's most likely been picked up from a certain elder alt or Sarah.
So. Do you get beaned or does the thing simply land at your feet? |

Well, it's obvious that Spring has arrived as the snow has seen fit to go away, the leaves on the trees are coming out, there's flowers around, and so on. Not to mention, it's a decent temperature out.
It's a bit lost on the Elric entering the grounds though. Seeing as she's somewhat crabby at the moment.
Who feels like finding out what her damage is? |

Edward has been recruited by Russell to see what he can find out about Elizabeth's door back home. His first stop is at his alt's apartment, to see what this mention of some device was. This is new and intriguing news to Edward.
He punches in the security code to the front door of the second building and heads in, walking down the hall to his alt's apartment, and knocks on the door. |

At some point during the last few days, a fair amount of snow has built up on the grounds. While there's certain to already be a snowman or two that's been built by the kids, who says the adults (or supposed adults can't want to have a little fun with it, too? It's not like there isn't enough snow on the ground for a possible snowball fight of epic proportions.
Anyway, this is why Ed's lurking about in hiding with a supply of ammunition. Ammunition that just might get aimed at you from his hiding spot behind a random bush.

Winry deposited her bags from the market on the kitchen counter of her apartment once she got home. "Sheska, can you put the groceries away?" she called into the spare room that acted as a library for Sheska's many, many books. "I have to get to the clinic, we've got a patient looking for some prescription refills."
She grabbed her cellphone while she talked, punching speed dial for Russell's cell. |

Taking advantage of the fact that it's warmer than it had been for the past few days, Ed's sitting outside with a book, reading. Or at least supposedly reading. The attempt isn't going very well. His concentration is shot and he's feeling twitchy. And his ears keep twitching in assorted directions in response to random sounds. Anyone feel like providing a distraction?

Ed shows up at Sarah's apartment door in mid-morning the day after this thread, knocking on it and hoping she hasn't gone to classes or something already. They had a manager to talk to, even if he had to drag Sarah over to the other's apartment. |

Ed's working off nervous energy by working out and sparring against an imaginary partner within the area of yard he mentally claimed as a training spot. Eventually, he decides it's time to take a break and flops down on the ground. |

...Well, hello there, what might this be? Seems a wolf somehow got into the apartment complex...yard...thing.

Whatever, there's a wolf wandering around looking somewhat lost, anxious, and quite worried. How it manages this is not known, but it does.
SO WHO WANTS TO PET A PUPPY??

There is a horse wandering around the yard of the apartments. It's nibbling in various places, but seems well cared for. No one is around watching it though. |

Sarah heads up to the door of the second building, holding a small clay pot in her hands. It has a lid on, and is obviously of some importance for her to be handling it with such care. Shifting it to hold in one hand, she rings the buzzer for Edward's apartment and waits, fidgeting a little. |

Ed waited a couple of days to make sure he was actually hungry before deciding that yes, he was. Which was why he was now standing in his landlord's doorway.
He gives a hesitant knock and then waits for a response, staring down at the tops of his boots. |
