Hey guys.  I'm sorry I've been gone for so long.  [....] How are you two doing?

[Text: Eti/Justine S]
Eti? I really need to talk to you.

[Locked: Andrew P/Justine S]
Sorry for disappearing for so long.  Take me to see your new house?

[Locked: Batman/Justine S]
Did all of your friends and family survive the plague?

[Public]
I don't know if even a trip to the spa is enough to decompress after everything.  There's a part of me that just wants to dance until my feet fall off, but that won't help things either I don't think.  I just need something to take my mind off things.  Is anyone else in the same boat? I know there are

ETA: Does anyone have studio space I could rent for a few afternoons? I need a wide open space, preferably one with a wall of mirrors. I'm looking to practice ballet. Thank you!

That's right, I heard it spread over to the other comic book world. Your tumor's boyfriend dying?

Yeah, that's what he is.

[...] He died.

Why do you call him a tumor?

Shit. Some people here almost died, but I think they all got through it.

Because he just showed up in my head one day talking crazy. That's what brain tumors do. They make people nuts.

All of them? That's not fair

She did that. I was more excited because she knew my brother and I hadn't seen him in five years.

A lot of regular people died, don't worry. Regular, not crazy or batty people.

[Stunned cursor blink.] Why would you lose contact with your brother?

He died trying to help them, because one of them brought it to him.

[Pause] He got his Alter five years ago. He was afraid of what was happening, because he didn't know, so he [...] ran away. It was to keep me and our family safe, but it was so hard losing him, not knowing if he was alive or dead or where he was. I didn't care what I was leaving behind. I just needed to see my brother again.

Does that bug you? Your girl? It'd bug the shit out of my tumor.

I can respect that. My brother doesn't know me.

I'm mad. His person here was a friend sort of, and she's just crying because he left her a note saying he loved her instead of actually telling her. She's so hurt and I can't even do anything to help her.

How come he doesn't know you? If you don't mind my asking?

This hotel shit is so heavy. My tumor shows up when his woman is dying and the city is a mess. My friend has someone batshit insane in his head. Your girl's heartbroken like this is some kind of shitty country song.

We had bad parents. He saved me when I was a baby and got adopted away. I know where he is, I just don't think I can talk to him. besides anon calls

It's been really bad lately. I don't think it's going to get any better anytime soon.

Is he old enough to remember you?

Thanks, white swan. Best welcome card ever.

He knows I exist, but the last time he saw me I was a baby. So, if he thinks I'm fucking lame as an adult, it'd be like learning Superman can't fly. Or that Robin Hood gives his money to Republicans.

It's cool, though.

I'm sorry. I'm not really the best person to be optimistic right now. Maybe I'm wrong and it'll get better?

I've only been talking to you for a few minutes and I think I'd want to know if you were my sibling or not. Family tends to make all of this a little easier to handle.

Yeah, I guess.

It does. [...] I can go with you, if you want? Or maybe scope him out, see what he's like?
