public.
Clarify something for me, if you will.

Wouldn't the more apt function of these communal journals be an opportunity to set forth solutions rather than lamenting the repressed psychoses of our inner children? I get it, I do. You're all Germanic noble savages worshiping thunder deities and masticating horse meat, when you're not busy raising the dead. Or so I hear. Coincidentally, you could suspect why I refrained from using the traditional term Viking, which is actually of a feminine tense from which the masculine vikingr is easily derived but also easily overlooked.

To set things back on course, I have a question to steer us in the right direction from hence forth. What is the best screenplay adaption of a musical? Think carefully, there is only one correct answer.

Experience is an even narrower sample populace. You are not an unbiased test subject. Your emotions taint your experiences, and your experiences taint your emotions. Invalid.

Are you going to sit here and argue with me about the level of intelligence in three people that eagerly enter a debate on the merits of song and dance while a significant portion of the journal-holder population was sexually assaulted and/or dismembered recently?

You're attempting to make statements about the larger population based on three potentially traumatized individuals. I'm not arguing with you. I'm telling you that, scientifically, your opinions are without merit.

No, I'm making statements about these three individuals. I've already conceded to the fact that intelligence exists in Las Vegas, I'm talking to you.

Thank you. I think. You're still wrong.

You could be right, I have considered it already, thus confirming my objectivity to my own omniscience. I can be wrong, but I'm not.

How comfortable are you with being proven inaccurate?

Scientifically inaccurate? You won't be able to.

That wasn't the question.

I'm comfortable with you trying, under scientific conditions and using acceptable, predetermined parameters.

I'm flattered you seem to think that I'm the only one capable of proving you wrong.

There was no indication of that in my reply.

There was every indication of that in your reply. I asked how comfortable you were with being proven wrong, rather than answer me, you chose to outline all of the ways that you would allow me to try and do so. Still evading the question, unless you already answered it.

I ask you how to protect a home while calling from the front door, and your only response is to latch the chain?

You're obfuscating the facts of the conversation. My issuing of parameters already implies that I'm comfortable with your attempts at proving yourself wrong.

Prove myself wrong? I didn't realize this entire conversation was the set-up for a joke, Dahlia. Can I call you Dahlia?

I don't enter into situations where I can be proven wrong, I outline the possibility for failure first. Which is what you should have done, before you commented on this post.

You like your assumptions, don't you? You may, Cotton. You'll forgive me if I don't request permission for reciprocal use of your name.

I'm still awaiting parameters.

Just as much as you like your presumptions.

I wouldn't dream of proving you wrong, Dahlia. You're at least interesting at this point.

Telling you that your question was inane, based on the state of the city and the suffering that is still ongoing. Clarification that viking, in Norse, was not a noun, and therefore the feminine referred to the journey and not the race, making your statement intentionally incorrect, in order to insult. Or, lastly, pointing out your poor logic in choosing Germanic savages to make your point, as the general populace would not recognize Germanic paganism as having morphed into Norse paganism.
