I'm not letting you off that easy. [Eyebrow waggle.] I've always looked like this and been this bad ass. [Similar shrug.] Trying to untangle it will bring you right back to where you were before. It's like with Selina. I was mad at her. But, I also fucked up. And, I wasn't smart enough to admit it. I don't gain anything from trying to figure that mess out. If she wants to work it out with me now, fine. If not? I'll survive, somehow with my warm apartment, my pets and my beautiful blonde girlfriend.

Saving me from Owlman and getting in internet fights with people who think I'm still a bad guy are two completely different things. [He agrees with the first two and then ssiigghhs at the second.] Unpacking is so dull. Besides, I've still got remodeling to do! I got ideas while we were gone. Great ideas. Ones I need to implement before its too late. [Eyebrow up.] Do you want me to act jealous? I think I can dust off that emotion with enough research. [Beat.] See, this is taking me back. Waaay far back. Six years ago back. Do you want to be Batgirl?

Stephanie knows they're so beyond defending themselves from everyone now.] Oh, Christ. I told you we can't have an indoor slide it's impractical. [Soft smile.] What kind of R&R do you want? Remodeling doesn't count. [A pbbtttlll.] I took that out of both of our harddrives years ago. We'd need whole new software. [A scoff.] No, it's not that. Do you think it's appropriate for a twenty-six year old woman to run around calling herself Batgirl?

[Giving in.] Alright, alright. I can't tell you about the surprise. Instead I was thinking we could actually celebrate your birthday this weekend. I had plans, apparently, but I'm still trying to piece it together. That could be half the fun, to see what I had planned.

Batgirl is given to girls who need the title. Who need the family. Who're ready to figure out who they want to be when they grow up. But, you're a woman now.

[Softly.] I like me as Spoiler, too. It makes sense for me. And, you're right. Batgirl was all about finding my way in the world, but I've figured myself out. Mostly. I don't need- [A beat.] I wouldn't call it a crutch back then. It would be now. [Thoughtful.] I loved being Batgirl. I loved spreading hope and safety and lightness to Gotham, but I don't need it anymore. I know who I am as a crimefighter at least. That I can say with confidence. Maybe not anything else here, but I know I need to be Spoiler more.

Maybe so, but there's a lot of thought put in this. I mean pages and pages. Reservations at a bunch of different places, there's mention of some kind of performance art. I really don't know what the hell he was thinking. But in honor of lovestruck, eager to impress and, let's face it, sure he wasn't good enough Eddie, I think we should do it.

I really like the sound of that. [Laugh. Beat.] Are you going to hand it over to anyone?

I wish I could passive aggressively tease you into wearing dresses like I used to. I was living the dream. Look, I've seen you wearing oversized thrift store shirts and if you could make that look acceptable enough to sneak down to the riddle bar at the base for a quick drink, I think you can manage a real dress.
