[Early in the morning after this. Charges against Eddie for attacking the police commissioner are dropped because gee it was just bad booze that made him go a little nuts, right?]

It's nice how a good donation seems to solve all my problems. So many forgiving and lovely people in this shining, perfect city.

Trying to get rid of me, eh? I see how it is. First my girlfriend throws a fit about some woman she asked me to dance with. Then, after blindly and drunkenly defending her honor, I ruin all hopes of PR docility today at the ribbon cutting. And, then you refuse to get donuts with me and tell me to leave the door.

This entire city is so PLEASANT it's SO SICKLY WONDERFULLY PLEASANT and you have the NERVE to-

alright I don't know where that came from. Sometimes I see people laughing and chatting outside about inane weather patterns and it grinds my fucking gears.

I don't tell riddles. I mean I do [Blink.] I did that time you asked [Blink.] and lately I've been thinking about a lot of them that I've never even remember hearing. But, that's just because you planted the idea in my head. And, as for Stephanie. I don't have a reason to fight with her. We're together because it looks good for her on the gossip blogs and it gives me a boost in my tech company. It's a partnership one we've been very happy with until I tried to kill a creepy old man who looked at her in a way I didn't like.

The truth is, that even if you and I and Pam are seeing things differently and feeling things we shouldn't, most people here are happy with their lives. Trying to change that could ruin everything for them.
