	That's the point, Eddie. There wasn't anything interesting. We sat in chairs, and we talked for hours. Which means nothing because we weren't even ourselves. Someone who felt like he put other things first. It was hard to tell what was him and what was the costume. I don't remember the advice I gave. It was probably terrible, so what does it matter? I was a girl who had been locked up in a tower that desperately wanted to see and learn about the world. Curious, smart and friendly. However, she possessed such a terrible power that could rip open portals and deliver her anything she wanted from any dimension you could imagine. This resulted in a knowledge of things past, future and present, but not all of them pertaining to the reality at hand.

Plus daddy issues. But, I think we all have that in Gotham?

Nope, no similarities to speak of. Completely, utterly random choice by the hotel that held zero significance one way or the other.

What's that? Suddenly, I am convinced of your argument that you went as someone that wasn't you at all. However, my curiosity is so strong that I require at least a hint. At least a conversation topic beyond some guy's inability to find romance in and out of a costume.

I'm not ashamed of what people think about me. I'm worried they're going to get to her. I'm worried that I'm not good enough to keep her. That she deserves something better than little old riddled me. Laying all my riddles out for Arkham sometimes makes me think I should just stay here.

It's different now. I'm in Arkham and she has to constantly acknowledge the fact that I'm mentally ill. Would you really plan a future with a crazy person?

Eddie is bored of robberies for the sake of robberies. He likes breaking into things for new and interesting reasons. Though, right now, apparently, any sort of robbery is off the table.

Okay. Look. The kitty cat would agree that I'm very good at hiding the crazy with my charm and my sweetness and my dashing good looks. So a girl falls madly in love with me and sees all the good there is to see in me until all that bad stuff seems kind of distant. Then, one day, it comes back full force. Panic attacks, riddles shouted up at the night, a simple disregard for whoever gets in my way. It's ugly and crude and terrible. All of it pulled out from under the bed for everyone to see. Wouldn't you think twice? Even after almost a year?

If Stephanie didn't know what she was signing up for with you, then she wasn't paying attention. Everyone knows who you are, Eddie. She might see parts of you other people don't, but she can't have missed the parts of you everyone does know.
