I'm not that familiar with what you are, darling, but I assume your odds of becoming pregnant don't go up the more you like a man. Maybe it was the right time, maybe he was the right man, I can at least confirm that I didn't do it if you're thinking divine intervention.

I know what you mean though. The last two people I was with before my Johnny might have been better choices for fathers from a stability standpoint, but he was the one I really wanted and now we have a gorgeous little demigod together.
