I do not wish to cause any worry but I must put my pride to the side for the time being. For the safety of this station.

I seek to mend something that I did not believe could be cured. While I fought back the abyss and believed that it could be pushed back, there was no cure for anyone tainted by its touch. The spread of the abyss can be stopped but only with the death of those who carry it.

If I must die to stop its spread here on the station then so be it. However, if there is a way to cure it, I would be forever in the debt of whoever can help. If someone can help, please contact me.

The abyss is pure darkness. Once it begins to spread, it is difficult to stop. It is unrelenting, and threatens to swallow everything. I was afflicted with the taint of the abyss when I was injured there. The Lady Frigga was able to soothe and mend my wounds but she was unable to remove the abyss from within me. I wear a pendent that was gifted to me. It has slowed the spread but I fear it might not be enough in time.

	It will consume everything, pulling everything into a never ending darkness so deep that no light can truly penetrate it. The living and the undead will lose their minds, falling to corruption. Because I wanted to avoid explaining to you things you already know. :-) There is a girl, Amelia, here with a unique ability. She can create life from stories and words. Amelia has a library full of special books. Every book is centered on a person. Some of these people are us. Some of these people are ones from the worlds we are from and people we know. There might be one about Kaathe. There might be information in it that might help you or that could help Sarah with her research.

	They are. My Dad has his own book on lend from Amelia. It's accurate. But there are many different parallel universes and some only differ slightly from each other. So, there might be one about Kaathe but some things might be different in his life. Even if we can get to the book, it is not a guaranteed success but it might point us into the right direction.
