I do not wish to cause any worry but I must put my pride to the side for the time being. For the safety of this station.

I seek to mend something that I did not believe could be cured. While I fought back the abyss and believed that it could be pushed back, there was no cure for anyone tainted by its touch. The spread of the abyss can be stopped but only with the death of those who carry it.

If I must die to stop its spread here on the station then so be it. However, if there is a way to cure it, I would be forever in the debt of whoever can help. If someone can help, please contact me.

	You don't have to do something as drastic as dying! That's so permanent. I think I'm really close, right now I have something that kind of works... but the abyss "shrieks" which leads me to believe that it might be very painful to use on you. The abyss is pure darkness. Once it begins to spread, it is difficult to stop. It is unrelenting, and threatens to swallow everything. I was afflicted with the taint of the abyss when I was injured there. The Lady Frigga was able to soothe and mend my wounds but she was unable to remove the abyss from within me. I wear a pendent that was gifted to me. It has slowed the spread but I fear it might not be enough in time.

	It will consume everything, pulling everything into a never ending darkness so deep that no light can truly penetrate it. The living and the undead will lose their minds, falling to corruption. That is perhaps beyond traditional medicine. I would like to run some tests, to see how it affects you, just in case I can find a treatment.

We have special rooms for patients with contagious illness. These rooms can be sealed off from the rest of the station and have their own separate air supply. Would you staying in one help to slow the spread until a solution can be found?
