If I do not find some way to occupy a portion of my time while here, I fear I may well go mad. I have never been one for sitting idle, not even when it was considered proper decorum to do so, and I shall not do so for longer than I must, now.

Thank you. But Abigail will make up for it, in a way. You don't ever get over something like this but she'll help.

I've no doubt she will. I can only hope you never experience the pain of losing her as well. Having a child is truly a wondrous, life-altering experience in all aspects. They are capable of easing pains one may not have even realized were present until they suddenly were not.

I had two. My son passed away when he was less than a year of age. I lost my daughter to illness shortly before her tenth.
