Let's go with all of the above, with the addition of the feel of time being wasted. My family was here and now most if it is gone. At least when they were around, it felt like I was marginally part of their lives. And with that absence... It's like none of it ever mattered.

Y'know the last few days when I was another version of me? I remember every fucked up minute. Including the bit which leads to me being locked up in Azkaban. So I'm really quite very glad you're here, if that makes any difference?

And at least you got to meet them. Even if people don't remember. It's got to be worth something, right? It all matters. Even just for a bit.
